What happened to Juan Soto? Live injury updates for Cubs vs. Mets on 6/23/26

UPDATE: Soto (back) is considered day-to-day.

UPDATE: Soto left the game due to left side back tightness.

In the fifth inning of Tuesday’s game vs. the Cubs, Juan Soto left the game. He was seen wearing a heating pad on his back earlier in the contest.

Before exiting, he recorded no stats in two trips to the plate.
