WNBA Injury News: Alyssa Thomas, Kahleah Copper Updates 6/5/26

Things were already looking rough for the Phoenix Mercury heading into tonight’s game. At 3-8, they’re spiraling after being in the WNBA Finals last season. Things just got worse on Friday night with the injury news concerning Alyssa Thomas and Kahleah Copper.

Already underdogs on the road, the Mercury will try to right the ship without their top two scorers and best defender. Certainly won’t be easy for a team already struggling on both ends of the floor. Monique Akoa Makani figures to get more touches tonight, along with Jovana Nogić.
