Tuesday’s game between the New York Mets and Colorado Rockies has been postponed due to rain.

First pitch was initially scheduled for 8:40 p.m. ET at Coors Field but inclement weather in the area has led to the game’s postponement. Per the Rockies, this contest will be made up on Thursday at 3:10 p.m. ET.

Additionally, tomorrow’s game has been moved back from 3:10 p.m. ET to 9:20 p.m.

As things stand, RHP Christian Scott (4.26 ERA, 9 SO; 6.1 IP) is scheduled to start for New York on Wednesday against Colorado LHP Jose Quintana (4.07 ERA, 12 SO; 24.1 IP).

The Mets are just 13-22 in what’s been an incredibly disappointing campaign thus far, sitting last in the NL East standings. The Rockies haven’t fared much better at 14-22 at the bottom of the NL West, though expectations for the franchise remain far lower than that of their opponent in this series.
