Monday evening’s matchup between the Boston Red Sox and Detroit Tigers is currently in a rain delay.
The game made it into the bottom of the seventh inning before weather in the area forced officials to call the delay. The tarp was rolled out and play is expected to resume at some point once the rain clears up, though an official time for resumption hasn’t yet been announced.
At the time the rain delay was called, the Red Sox led 5-2. They’ve racked up 12 hits in total thus far, though Roman Anthony left early due to injury.
Lines are currently frozen on DraftKings Sportsbook, which lists Boston as -4100 favorites on the Moneyline. Detroit is a +1040 underdog for a comeback with with the run total set at 8.5..
Prior to the conclusion of Friday’s game, the Red Sox are 13-21, last in the AL East. Meanwhile, the Tigers are 18-17 in a tie for first in the AL Central.
