The UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada will be under the primetime lights for UFC Fight Night: Whittaker vs. Gastelum after being on ABC last weekend. This event will be televised on April 17 on ESPN+ with the main card beginning at 10 p.m. ET, and the prelims at 7 p.m. ET.
The main card will feature five fights, which includes three ranked fighters, ending the night with Robert “The Reaper” Whittaker and Kelvin Gastelum. Whittaker enters the UFC APEX with a 23-5 record and is first in the middleweight rankings. Gastelum walks into the bout with a 17-6 (1 NC) record and is eighth in the middleweight rankings. Whittaker is listed as the favorite at -286 by DraftKings Sportsbook, while Gastelum’s odds sit at +225.
Other notable fights on the main card are Jeremy Stephens vs. Drakkar Klose in the co-main event (lightweight), Andrei Arvolski vs. Chase Sherman (heavyweight), and Abdul Razak Alhassan vs. Jacob Malkoun (middleweight). There are also six prelim fights on the UFC Fight Night card.
