A pair of welterweights on losing streaks will see one of them end as Michel Pereira faces Zelim Imadaev at UFC on ESPN 9 Saturday in Las Vegas.

Pereira is 23-11 in MMA, but 1-2 in the UFC. In his last bout against Diego Sanchez in February he was disqualified for an illegal knee by referee Jason Herzog in the third round while well-ahead statistically. Imadaev is 8-2, with both losses coming without a win since joining the UFC. All eight of his wins on the independent circuit have come via knockout, the last three in the Fight Nights Global promotion. He’s averaged 3.69 strikes per minute with one takedown total in his two UFC bouts.
