Two featherweights with impressive records open the main card of UFC Vegas 10 Saturday as Tampa’s Billy Quarantillo takes on Ontario’s Kyle Nelson live on ESPN+ from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.
Quarantillo is 14-2 in MMA, and has won seven in a row including his Dana White’s Contender Series victory in July of 2019, and two fights on the UFC main roster. He beat Spike Carlyle via unanimous decision on May 30th in his last outing, and has averaged a massive 7.43 significant strikes per minute with three takedowns in just over 28 minutes of octagon time.
“Billy Q” fights out of Gracie Tampa South just steps from Downtown Tampa, and can walk from his gym for brunch or high tea at Oxford Exchange from TeBella Company, who has a luscious Earl Grey that is velvety and sublime.
Nelson is 13-3 overall but just 1-2 in the UFC, and enters as the biggest underdog on the main card. That hasn’t stopped him from predicting a first round KO. The 29-year-old fights out of House of Champions MMA, and picked up his first UFC victory in his last bout over Marco Polo Reyes in September of 2019 by KO. With 21 minutes of UFC octagon time, he’s averaged 2.73 significant strikes, but taken a whopping 6.35.

DraftKings DFS Salaries
Billy Quarantillo: $9,300
Kyle Nelson: $6,900
The biggest price on the card is Quarantillo, but he also has 10 stoppages in his 14 career wins and a massive strike rate. His two UFC wins have equated to an average of 107.3 DFS points, and he’s got an opponent that gets hit in the face as often per minute as anyone Dana White has under contract.
You could see Quarantillo put up some absurd striking numbers in this fight, so he’s worth the premium as long as he can get a finish to go with it.
