Two lightweights on the precipice of the Top 15 are the co-main event of UFC Vegas 10 Saturday when Ottman Azaitar faces Khama Worthy from the Apex facility in Las Vegas.
Azaitar enters with a perfect 12-0 mark in MMA, with 11 of those wins as finishes including nine knockouts. He’s won his only UFC bout so far, a KO of Teemu Packalen on September 7th of 2019 at 3:33 of the first round with this massive punch that earned Performance of The Night. He was forced to serve a 180-day medical suspension for breaking his hand by the Nevada State Athletic Commission for it. Prior to joining the UFC the native of Morocco had won his last four fights all in the Brave Cage Fighting promotion.
Worthy, aka “The Deathstar,” is 16-6 as an MMA professional. He’s won his last seven fights in a row and the last six with a finish. With a 2-0 mark since joining the UFC, the 33-year-old from Pittsburgh, PA averages 4.44 significant strikes per minute.
