UFC 252 is here! The MMA company is back in the United States after spending nearly a month in Abu Dhabi and now hosts its first PPV since returning, this time at its APEX facility in Las Vegas. The card features a heavyweight title main event that will likely go on near or after midnight, and opens at 7 p.m. with the early preliminary card. The PPV will air on ESPN+.
The second fight on the preliminary card is a featherweight bout between TJ Brown and Danny Chavez. We’ve got fairly close odds between these two. Brown is a -155 favorite, while Chavez is a +125 underdog.
Brown is 14-7 with 13 wins by stoppage, including 4 by KO or TKO and 9 by submission. He lost his UFC debut in February, submitting to Jordan Griffin in the second round at UFC Fight Night 169. He entered the organization after gaining a submission win last August over Dylan Lockard at Dana White’s Contender Series.
Chavez is 10-3 in his career, with three wins by KO or TKO and the rest by decision. He is making his UFC debut and is coming off three straight wins. He fought less than a month ago, knocking out Dylan Cala on July 18th at GLFC 14.
