UFC 250 gets underway this Saturday at 6 p.m. ET, marking the first PPV at the organization’s Apex facility since before the pandemic shut it down. The early preliminary card gets started just after 6 p.m. on ESPN, the preliminary card gets going at approximately 8 p.m., and the main card will air on ESPN+ as a PPV. The main event of the evening features Amanda Nunes defending her featherweight championship against Felicia Spencer.
The first fight of the evening on the early preliminary card was only added this week. Evan Dunham and Herbert Burns will square off in a featherweight bout. Burns 10-2, has won four straight, and opened as a -240 favorite. He last fought in January, winning his UFC debut via first round knockout of Nate Landwehr at Fight Night 166. Prior to that he won via submission at Dana White’s Contender Series, and won two fights in Titan FC before that. His last three fights have all been won with first round stoppages.
Dunham is 18-8-1 in his professional career, but is 0-2-1 in his last three fights — the most recent of which came in 2018.. Francisco Trinaldo knocked him out in the second round at UFC Fight Night 137 in September 2018, and Olivier Aubin-Mercier won via TKO at UFC 223 in April of 2018.
