Everything you need to know for Van Buren vs. Torres at UFC on ESPN 11

The UFC returns to action Saturday evening with UFC on ESPN 11 at its Las Vegas Apex facility. The event is scheduled to open sometime after 5 p.m. with Austin Hubbard and Max Rohskopf facing off in a lightweight bout. The ESPN event concludes with a main event featuring heavyweight contenders as Curtis Blaydes and Alexander Volkov face off in the Octagon.

The penultimate fight of the preliminary card is a women’s strawweight bout between Tecia Torres and Brianna Van Buren. Van Buren opened as the favorite at -225 and is $9,000 in DFS pricing. Torres opened as a +175 underdog and is $7,200 in DFS pricing.

Van Buren enters the bout with a 9-2 record, including two wins by way of KO/TKO and three by way of submission. She has won six straight fits dating following a loss in February 2015, three by unanimous decision and three by submission. Her most recent win was a unanimous decision win over Livinha Souza at UFC Fight Night 155 last July.

Torres enters the bout with a 10-5 record, with nine coming by decision. She has lost four straight fights by way of unanimous decision, most recently to Marina Rodriguez at UFC Fight Night 156 last August.
