The UFC returns to action Saturday evening with UFC on ESPN 11 at its Las Vegas Apex facility. The event is scheduled to open sometime after 5 p.m. with Austin Hubbard and Max Rohskopf facing off in a lightweight bout. The ESPN event concludes with a main event featuring heavyweight contenders as Curtis Blaydes and Alexander Volkov face off in the Octagon.
The first fight of the main card features Jim Miller and Roosevelt Roberts. Roberts opened as the favorite at -240 and is $9,200 in DFS pricing. Miller opened as a +185 underdog and is $7,000 in DFS pricing.
Roberts is 10-1 and has won eight of his fights by stoppage, including three KO/TKO wins and five submissions. He opened his career with eight straight wins before a unanimous decision loss to Vinc Pichel at UFC on ESPN 3 last June. Since then, he won a unanimous decision over Alexander Yakovlev in November and won via second-round submission over Brok Weaver three weeks ago.
Miller is a long-time veteran of MMA, with a 31-14 record and one no-contest. He has 17 submission victories and four wins by KO/TKO. He’s a modest gate-keeper at best at this point in his career. His most recent fight was a unanimous decision loss to Scott Holtzman in February. In 2019 he won both his fights via submission, but prior to that he lost five of six fights.
