The UFC returns to action Saturday evening with UFC on ESPN 11 at its Las Vegas Apex facility. The event is scheduled to open sometime after 5 p.m. ET with Austin Hubbard and Max Rohskopf facing off in a lightweight bout. The ESPN event concludes with a main event featuring heavyweight contenders as Curtis Blaydes and Alexander Volkov face off in the Octagon. The main card is scheduled to start at 8 p.m.
Blaydes is the a heavy favorite in this fight, opening at -295 and climbing fairly quickly. He’s 13-2 and in the midst of a three-fight win streak. He most recently beat Junior Dos Santos via second round TKO at UFC Fight Night 166 in January. His last loss came in November 2018, with a first round TKO at the hands of Francis Ngannou at UFC Fight Night 141.
Volkov is a long-time veteran of MMA, with a 31-7 record. His last fight was a unanimous decision victory over former NFL player Greg Hardy last November. Prior to that he lost to Derrick Lewis via third round KO at UFC 229 in October 2018.
