The Denver Broncos shocked the NFL world with their decision to bench starting QB Russell Wilson for the team’s final two games of the 2023 NFL season, despite still being in the playoff hunt.
While Wilson hasn’t regained his form in the slightest, he was improved from last year — even if he struggled mightily in the first three quarters of the Broncos’ previous tilt. The benching is the first move toward releasing Wilson in the offseason and taking a massive cap hit.

The GM Shuffle discusses that, along with previewing the penultimate week of the NFL campaign.
