Nick Friar utilizes one of the new DraftKings Sportsbook tools to make a play for tonight’s NBA slate.

There’s a new Teaser tool in the DraftKings Sportsbook Stats Hub. Check it out to make your own Teaser plays for NBA and NFL games.

The tool allows us to toggle the tease total to see how a play has performed against various numbers, but I’ll be sticking to the default of 4 points to ensure -110 odds.

Bulls -1

The biggest knock the Bulls have against them on Thursday is they’re playing on the second leg of a back-to-back. That’s not been an ideal spot for them in 2023-24, as Chicago is 1-4 straight-up and 2-3 ATS when playing on the second leg of a back-to-back. However, getting this down to essentially a pick’em against the floundering Spurs is too appealing.

The Spurs haven’t been in this setting too much this season. Regardless, they’ve still lost in the two instances they were playing an opponent that was on the second leg of a back-to-back.

Beyond that, not much more needs to be said. The Bulls have been a disappointment in their own right, but no one wants to be the next team to lose to the Spurs, Pistons or Wizards, who have combined for just 10 wins despite each having played over 25 games apiece.

Thunder ML

Another game that features a team on the second leg of a back-to-back, and another pick’em option. However, OKC is the one that played on Wednesday.

The Clippers have been decent when playing on the second leg of a back-to-back, going 2-2. But as mentioned before, teams on the second leg of a back-to-back have generally struggled, losing almost 60% of their games this season.

Similar to San Antonio, the Thunder have only been in this scenario twice so far this season. However, unlike the Spurs, OKC has walked out with a W in both instances. On top of that, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has a knack for getting after it against his old team. OKC is 4-1 in the last five meetings between these two teams.
