After a three-game Thanksgiving slate, we’re back to one TNF game. However, we get a couple of teams in the NFC playoff picture, and both are on full rest as they played last Thursday.
Let’s take a look at a betting angle on DraftKings Sportsbook that I like for this matchup in the NFC.
Cowboys Team Total OVER 27.5 (-120) — 1.5-units
Dallas has been a wagon at home this season, and I don’t see that changing here against the Seahawks. Seattle is in the midst of a tough spot in the schedule that ultimately could lead to falling out of the playoffs. After giving up 31 points at home on Thanksgiving to the 49ers, the Seahawks have to go on the road and try and stop a Dallas offense that’s firing on all cylinders right now.
The Cowboys just dropped 45 on Washington on Turkey Day, but that’s essentially on par for how they perform at home — a perfect 5-0 record straight up and against the spread, averaging 41 points per game. The Cowboys have topped 40 points in four of those five home games, with the low mark being 30 points against the Jets back in Week 2.
Going up against a Seattle defense that ranks in the bottom-third of the league against both the pass and the rush, this one could get ugly. If you want to incorporate a SGP with Dallas on the moneyline, or even laying some points, I think that’s a safe route to go. But for this play I’m just going to isolate what I’m most confident in — Dallas lighting up the scoreboard.
