Kings Announce Special NFT Drop — Dec. 23 at 1:21 p.m.

The Sacramento Kings’ social media team continues to take Ws. The franchise has announced a collection of 20 Laidback Lion NFTs dropping on Solana for 2.8 SOL at 5:00 p.m. ET later today. Each holder will receive access to a private pick-up basketball game, exclusive team merchandise, and a couple of premium seats at an upcoming home game.

BAYC Flips CryptoPunks — Dec. 22 at 12:01 p.m.

It’s finally happening. After a lengthy period of speculation, the floor price of Bored Ape Yacht Club has finally flipped CryptoPunks. For those new to the game, a floor price is the lowest price at which a type of NFT is currently available for sale. Earlier today, BAYC’s floor rose to 53.9 ETH ($215,350), surpassing CryptoPunks’ floor of 52.69 ETH at the time. Since then, the floor prices of both projects have flip-flopped, but BAYC permanently surpassing CryptoPunks appears to be inevitable.

This surge is quite impressive, as BAYC is still a relatively young project, having launched in April of this year. CryptoPunks, on the other hand, launched in 2017. Stay tuned for updates as the flip becomes official.

VeeConference Speakers Revealed — Dec. 21 at 4:01 p.m.

NFT Influencer GaryVee recently announced VeeConference, an exclusive conference for VeeFriends’ Token holders. The event will take place at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota from May 19-22. Now, Vaynerchuk has announced 25% of the speakers who will appear at VeeConference. See the full list below:

Snoop Dogg Goes All In— Dec. 21 at 3:47 p.m.

After completing life, legendary artist Snoop Dogg’s side quests continue. This time, his ventures have led to the Metaverse. He becomes the latest celebrity to purchase NFTs from Bored Ape Yacht Club, which continues to dominate headlines. See the latest additions to Snoop’s collection here:

Golf Goes Digital — Dec. 20 at 2:17 p.m.

The PGA Tour is getting in on the action, announcing its impending NFT series launch. The Tour will utilize this new campaign as a revenue stream for golfers, hoping to replicate the NBA’s Top Shot success. In an official memo obtained by GOLF.com, the Tour stated its desire to increase fan engagement, promote players’ brands and provide long-term revenue opportunity for those involved.

NFTs in future collections will feature video highlights, ShotLink data and more. Individual golfers like Bryson DeChambeau and Tiger Woods have already launched successful NFT collections, proving that a market for the Tour exists. Check out the full breakdown by GOLF.com for more information.

GaryVee’s BOOK GAMES — Dec. 20 at 1:37 p.m.

Back in August, GaryVee announced his new book “Twelve and a Half”, declaring that anyone who purchased it in multiples of 12 would receive a special NFT. With over 1 million copies sold, Vaynerchuk has announced the next step in his process.

BOOK GAMES will be a series of contests played on Immutable X, a “Layer 2” that sits on top of Ethereum. The limitless exchange protocol is gaining in popularity due to its security and non-existent gas fees.
