AUDL Best Bets: American Ultimate Disc League Odds and Pool Picks on DraftKings Sportsbook for Week 9

It may be Week 9 of the AUDL season, but it’s just the second week for wagering on professional ultimate. And if you’re looking for next level insight, you might have just stumbled upon the perfect place.

After going 3-0 with my locks last week, the pressure’s on to stay hot.

Here are my three suggestions — a.k.a “locks” — for the upcoming ultimate weekend.

Austin Sol (-2)

I like the Austin Sol giving two at home against the San Jose Spiders. The Sol struggled in the second half last week against San Diego, but the Spiders have nowhere near the firepower that the Growlers have, and Austin absolutely needs to rediscover its confidence before the massively anticipated regular season finale against Dallas. This has ‘get-right-game’ written all over it for the Sol, who have much more at stake on Saturday than the Spiders. Consequently, Austin -2, book it.

San Diego Growlers (-2)

Give me another two-point favorite at home against an inferior team. Specifically, I’ve got the first place San Diego Growlers as they host the Seattle Cascades. Similarly to the first selection, this is a game that should mean much more to San Diego than Seattle, and the Cascades have been shaky on the road all season long. The Growlers will carry their momentum for their second half in Austin and take care of business against Seattle.

Dallas Roughnecks (-3.5)

Lastly, the Dallas Roughnecks delivered for me last week, so I’m sticking with the Roughnecks against a San Jose Spiders team that’ll be gasping for air in the Texas heat on the second day of a back-to-back. The official forecast for Sunday in Dallas suggests the temperature could reach triple digits, and the Roughnecks, despite all their injuries, should have enough remaining weapons to handle the Spiders.

For the TLDR folks, bang Austin -2, San Diego -2, and Dallas -3.5. We won with three underdogs last week, and we’re hammering three favorites this week. Quite simply, we’re riding the top three teams in the West all the way to another 3-0 weekend.

At least, that’s the plan.
