Madden Stream Picks: Top DraftKings Fantasy Football DFS Targets, Values for July 25

Zach Thompson gives his top studs and value plays at each position for Sunday’s three-game Madden Stream DraftKings slate, which starts at 6:00 p.m. ET.

This Sunday the DraftKings Dream Stream has another full day of six Madden 21 sims on the schedule, with a three-game featured classic slate kicking off at 6:00 p.m. ET. The first game on that featured slate is the San Francisco 49ers visiting the Las Vegas Raiders. In primetime, the Dallas Cowboys visit the Indianapolis Colts at 8:00 p.m. ET, and the final game of the day should be a good matchup between the Los Angeles Chargers and the Seattle Seahawks, kicking off at 10:00 p.m. ET.

As you build your lineups, be sure to consider the depth charts for each team. If you’re looking for gameplay details for these sims, along with the upcoming schedule, head over to the Madden Streams Information Page.

Quarterback

Stud

Russell Wilson, Seattle Seahawks vs. Los Angeles Chargers, $7,800 — Wilson is always a QB to consider paying up for in these sims since he is such a force both through the air and on the ground. He is averaging 189.8 passing yards and 60.7 rushing yards per sim and has totaled 187 touchdowns in 106 sims. He has faced the Chargers three times in Madden 21, producing 17.02, 19.8 and an impressive 30.42 DKFP. He can go off and break the slate in any matchup and has over 25 DKFP in four of his six most recent contests.

Other Option — Dak Prescott ($6,700)

Value

Jimmy Garoppolo, San Francisco 49ers at Las Vegas Raiders, $5,600 — Jimmy G isn’t the focus of his team’s offense like Wilson is, but he has shown a high ceiling at times and gets a good matchup on this slate. Garoppolo has thrown multiple touchdowns in five of his past six sims and has 141 passing scores in 101 sims. He’s averaging 231.4 passing yards per sim, so his fantasy value really just depends on if he passes for the scores or if they come on the ground.

Other Options — Justin Herbert ($6,000)

Running Back

Stud

Raheem Mostert, San Francisco 49ers at Las Vegas Raiders, $7,800 — Mostert gets most of the work in San Francisco, which is why Jimmy G can sometimes disappear. The 49ers’ workhorse back has averaged 82 rushing yards, 3.5 catches and 29.5 receiving yards per sim while scoring 100 touchdowns in his 101 total sims. Mostert exploded for 33.8 DKFP in his most recent matchup against the Raiders and had over 14 DKFP in five straight before being limited to 8.6 DKFP by the Buccaneers in his most recent sim. He should be able to bounce back in this favorable spot.

Other Options — Ezekiel Elliott ($8,300), Austin Ekeler ($8,200)

Value

Carlos Hyde, Seattle Seahawks vs. Los Angeles Chargers, $4,400 — Hyde is part of a timeshare with Chris Carson ($5,500), but he gets enough work to still be a nice value under $5K. Hyde has multiple receptions in four straight sims and in 10 of his previous 12 contests. He had 9.4, 4.8 and 10.8 DKFP in his three earlier matchups with the Chargers and is always a threat to produce a big game with a touchdown or good PPR production.

Other Options — Nyheim Hines ($5,700), Jalen Richard ($4,100)

Wide Receiver

Stud

Amari Cooper, Dallas Cowboys at Indianapolis Colts, $6,500 — The Colts have a very lowly-rated secondary and often give up big games to opposing WR1s. Cooper had two touchdowns and an impressive 35.1 DKFP against the Eagles in his most recent sim and has over 10 DKFP in 17 of his past 20 contests. He is averaging 4.5 catches for 72.6 yards per sim and has scored an impressive 60 touchdowns in 97 Madden 21 games.

Other Option — Keenan Allen ($6,300)

Value

Deebo Samuel, San Francisco 49ers at Las Vegas Raiders, $5,200 — Samuel can be boom-or-bust as the 49ers’ WR1, but he should be able to put up a good stat total against the Raiders. He has found the end zone in three of his past four sims with over 13 DKFP in each of those contests and has multiple catches in nine straight sims coming into this contest.

Parris Campbell, Indianapolis Colts vs. Dallas Cowboys, $3,900 — As the Colts’ WR3 and primary slot option, Campbell has a high ceiling due to his 94 speed rating and has put together some big games in these sims. He had six catches for 67 yards and 12.7 DKFP in a recent matchup with the Cowboys and can go off for an even bigger number if he breaks loose for a big play or two.

Other Options — T.Y. Hilton ($5,700), Michael Gallup ($4,400), Dante Pettis ($3,600)

Tight End

Stud

Darren Waller, Las Vegas Raiders vs. San Francisco 49ers, $5,700 — While the WRs on this slate have been a little inconsistent, there are great options at TE, led by Waller, who has over 15 DKFP in four of his past six games, highlighted by a 28.5 DKFP performance against the Giants. He had 11.7 and 10.1 DKFP in his two earlier Madden 21 contests against San Francisco, and is a reliable source of double-digit DKFP in most matchups.

Other Options — George Kittle ($5,200), Greg Olsen ($5,100)

Value

Trey Burton, Indianapolis Colts vs. Dallas Cowboys, $4,900 — Burton has been a mainstay of the Colts’ offense, getting plenty of targets from Philip Rivers ($5,700). In his 94 sims as the team’s top TE, Burton has averaged 4.9 catches for 53.6 yards per sim while scoring 34 touchdowns. Against Dallas, he has produced 13.8, 12.8 and 11.4 DKFP in their three most recent meetings. He doesn’t have quite as much touchdown potential as the elite options but still represents a relatively safe play.

Other Option — Blake Jarwin ($4,100)

DST

Stud

Seahawks DST vs. Los Angeles Chargers, $3,100 — With their hard-hitting, turnover-producing Superstar X-factors, the Seahawks are a good defense to play every time they’re on the slate. They have forced 114 turnovers in 106 sims while adding 218 sacks and 19 defensive touchdowns to average 7.4 DKFP per sim. In three of their past five games, they have at least 11 DKFP and bring a high ceiling in this matchup with an inconsistent rookie QB, Justin Herbert ($6,000).

Value

Cowboys DST at Indianapolis Colts, $2,700 — The Cowboys DST hasn’t had as many big plays as the Seahawks have, but they do have a solid pass rush which has totaled seven sacks in four previous meetings with the Colts and 204 sacks in 100 Madden 21 sims. They are a solid play since they don’t typically give up a ton of points, but they only have 42 takeaways and six defensive touchdowns.
