Madden Stream Picks: Top DraftKings Fantasy Football DFS Targets, Values for May 15

Zach Thompson gives his top studs and value plays at each position for Saturday’s three-game Madden Stream DraftKings slate, which starts at 6:00 p.m. ET.

The DraftKings Dream Stream doesn’t slow down for the weekend with six more Madden 21 sims on tap for Saturday. The three-game featured classic slate kicks off at 6:00 p.m. ET when the Buffalo Bills visit the Los Angeles Chargers. At 8:00 p.m. ET, the NFC East takes centerstage with back-to-back contests as the Dallas Cowboys host the Washington Football Team followed by the New York Giants welcoming in the Philadelphia Eagles at 10:00 p.m. ET.

Check out all the gameplay details on the Madden Streams Information Page and dive into the full depth chart for each team. My favorite fantasy plays for today’s slate are listed below.

Quarterback

Stud

Carson Wentz, Philadelphia Eagles at New York Giants, $7,100 — Wentz will be facing the Giants for the fourth time in these Madden 21 sims, and he has put up 24.08 and 27.26 DKFP in two of their three prior meetings. He’s the only QB in play with an average of over 20 DKFP, and he has reached over 19 DKFP in seven of his past nine games, showing some solid consistency. He has a better matchup than Josh Allen ($7,500) and has been more consistent, which helps make up for Allen’s advantage in rushing production.

Other Options — Josh Allen ($7,500)

Value

Daniel Jones, New York Giants vs. Philadelphia Eagles, $5,500 — There’s a substantial dropoff from Wentz and Allen to the rest of the QBs in play, but Jones makes sense against the Eagles’ questionable secondary and has had some nice ceiling games. While he has only averaged 16.7 DKFP per sim, he has reached over 18 DKFP in five of his past 11 games. He has added 10 rushing touchdowns to his 101 passing scores in 73 games and is the best cheap play at QB if you decide to spend up at other roster spots.

Other Option — Justin Herbert ($6,100)

Running Back

Stud

Ezekiel Elliott, Dallas Cowboys vs. Washington Football Team, $7,800 — Zeke has been on a scoring binge with nine touchdowns over his past six games and over 28 DKFP in each of his two most recent contests. He has had little trouble in the past against the Washington Football Team’s normally stout defense, posting over 20 DKFP in four of his previous five meetings with his division foes. Overall, he has produced 85.5 rushing yards, 21.4 receiving yards and 2.8 catches per game in his 76 sims while scoring 75 touchdowns.

Other Options — Austin Ekeler ($7,300), Miles Sanders ($7,100)

Value

J.D. McKissic, Washington Football Team at Dallas Cowboys, $6,600 — Since there are so many running backs on this slate that are both RB1 and third-down back for their teams, there aren’t any cheap options that regularly produce. McKissic is a nice option who is under $7K, though, since he catches so many passes out of the backfield. In his 77 sims, he is averaging 4.2 catches for 29.3 yards per game in addition to his 53.2 yards per game on the ground. He has over 10 DKFP in all five of his sims against Dallas, averaging 16.2 DKFP in their prior matchups.

Other Option — Devin Singletary ($5,400)

Wide Receiver

Stud

Keenan Allen, Los Angeles Chargers vs. Buffalo Bills, $6,200 — The Bills have a strong secondary led by Superstar X-factor Tre’Davious White, but White typically stays on the outside, which would leave Allen in a very winnable matchup out of the slot. He had nine catches, 77 yards and 22.7 DKFP in his earlier game against Buffalo and comes into this rematch off of a 27.1-DKFP performance against the Lions. Allen has scored 33 touchdowns in 78 sims, averaging 4.6 catches for 53.1 yards per sim.

Other Options — Amari Cooper ($6,000), Desean Jackson ($5,900)

Value

Michael Gallup, Dallas Cowboys vs. Washington Football Team, $5,500 — Gallup has been a great WR2 for Dallas, hauling in 44 touchdowns in 75 sims while averaging 3.4 catches for 51.9 yards per sim. He has had mixed results against Washington but did put up one of his biggest games with 33.4 DFKP on 174 yards in one of their previous meetings.

Darius Slayton, New York Giants vs. Philadelphia Eagles, $4,300 — Slayton has been busy as the Giants’ WR3, averaging 2.7 catches for 45.2 yards per game. He has multiple catches in nine straight contests, averaging 12.7 DKFP over that stretch. He should be able to find space to continue rolling against the Eagles’ thin secondary.

Other Options — Marquise Goodwin ($5,400), Sterling Shepard ($5,100), Dontrelle Inman ($3,800)

Tight End

Stud

Zach Ertz, Philadelphia Eagles at New York Giants, $5,800 — Ertz faces uncertainty about his future in real life, but he has looked great in these sims as one of the most consistent and productive TEs in Madden 21. Ertz has at least six catches in five straight sims and is averaging 5.6 catches for 60.1 yards per sim in 75 contests. He has found the end zone 32 times and had a 20.4-DKFP performance in one of his earlier matchups with Big Blue.

Other Option — Evan Engram ($5,200)

Value

Hunter Henry, Los Angeles Chargers vs. Buffalo Bills, $4,100 — Like slot WRs, the Bills typically give up good games to TEs since their coverage is so good on the outside but not over the middle. In most matchups, Henry is a nice PPR play, averaging 3.9 catches per game with four catches or more in four straight and six of his past seven sims.

Other Option — Jeremy Sprinkle ($4,200)

DST

Stud

Chargers DST vs. Buffalo Bills, $2,900 — The Chargers have a hard-hitting defense that has recovered 47 fumbles in 79 sims, forcing a total of 69 turnovers in 79 games to go with 176 sacks. Allen runs a lot but can be prone to fumbles, so this should be a good matchup for the Bolts to make big plays.

Value

Cowboys DST vs. Washington Football Team, $2,600 — The Cowboys get a good matchup against Dwayne Haskins ($5,800) and have done a pretty good job in Madden 21 at limiting opponents’ point production. They have also forced 31 turnovers and totaled 152 sacks in their 76 sims and have 5.0 DKFP or more in three of their five meetings with Washington.
