The NBA is the Wild West right now, given COVID-19 and the league’s health protocols, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t edges to be had. Generally, I’m giving out plays in a best bets article, and while I’ll still be doing so, I think it’s also helpful to share some numbers that help you conduct your own research and make your own plays. Here are some DraftKings Sportsbook betting trends and straight up (SU)/against the spread (ATS) information that you should find helpful for Thursday’s NBA betting card.

  • The Lakers are 3-7 ATS since LeBron James injured his ankle.

  • The Heat are 14-13 SU and 10-16-1 ATS at home.

Milwaukee Bucks (32-18, 22-28 ATS) at Dallas Mavericks (28-22, 25-25 ATS)
