NBA Basketball Betting Trends: Team Records Against the Spread and Totals for March 1 on DraftKings Sportsbook

The NBA is the Wild West right now, given COVID-19 and the league’s health protocols, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t edges to be had. Generally, I’m giving out plays in a best bets article, and while I’ll still be doing so, I think it’s also helpful to share some numbers that help you conduct your own research and make your own plays. Here are some DraftKings Sportsbook betting trends and straight up (SU)/against the spread (ATS) information that you should find helpful for Monday’s NBA betting card.

Indiana Pacers (15-17, 14-18 ATS) at Philadelphia 76ers (22-12, 17-15-2 ATS)

  • The Pacers are 8-7 SU and ATS on the road.
  • The Pacers are 10-5 to the over on the road.
  • The Pacers are 1-4 SU and ATS in their past five.
  • The Pacers are 5-1 to the over in their past six.
  • The 76ers 14-3 SU and 11-6 ATS at home.
  • The 76ers are 10-7 to the over at home.
  • The 76ers are 3-6 ATS in their past nine.
  • The 76ers are 1-4 to the over in their past five.

Denver Nuggets (18-15, 14-19 ATS) at Chicago Bulls (15-17, 18-13-1 ATS)

  • The Nuggets are 9-8 SU and 8-9 ATS on the road.
  • The Nuggets are 12-5 to the over on the road.
  • The Nuggets are 2-6 ATS in their past eight on the road.
  • The Bulls are 7-10 SU and 7-9-1 ATS at home.
  • The Bulls are 9-8 to the over at home.
  • The Bulls are 5-2 SU and 4-2-1 ATS in their past seven.
  • The Bulls are 4-2 to the over in their past six at home.

Utah Jazz (27-7, 25-8-1 ATS) at New Orleans Pelicans (14-19, 14-19 ATS)

  • The Jazz are 12-5 SU and 11-6 ATS on the road.
  • The Jazz are 8-8-1 to the over on the road.
  • The Jazz are 11-2 SU and ATS in their past 13.
  • The Jazz are 2-8 1Q ATS in their past 10.
  • The Pelicans are 9-7 SU and 7-9 ATS at home.
  • The Pelicans are 13-2-1 to the over at home.

  • The Spurs are 5-10 1H ATS at home (but 12-1 1H ATS on the road).

Cleveland Cavaliers (13-21, 13-21 ATS) at Houston Rockets (11-21, 11-21 ATS)

  • The Cavs are 4-12 SU and ATS on the road.
  • The Cavs are 7-9 to the over on the road.
  • The Cavs are 3-0 SU and ATS following a 10-game losing streak.
  • The Cavs’ past three wins were all as underdogs of a combined 24.5 points, including the third-largest betting upset of the NBA season on Saturday in Philadelphia.
  • The Rockets are 5-8 SU and 3-10 ATS at home.
  • The Rockets are 1-11-1 to the over at home.
  • The Rockets are 0-11 SU and 1-10 ATS in their past 11 games.
  • The Rockets are 0-9 to the over in their past nine home games.

Charlotte Hornets (16-17, 18-14-1 ATS) at Portland Trail Blazers (18-14, 17-15 ATS)

  • The Hornets are 7-9 SU and 9-7 ATS on the road.
  • The Hornets are 12-4 to the over on the road.
  • The Hornets are 7-1 to the over in their past eight.
  • The Hornets are 5-2 ATS on the second night of a back-to-back.
  • The Blazers are 8-6 SU and 5-9 ATS at home.
  • The Blazers are 7-7 to the over at home.
  • The Blazers are 5-2 to the over in their past seven at home.
  • The Blazers are 0-4 SU and 1-3 ATS in their past four.
