Among the seven games in the NBA on Tuesday is a matchup between the Utah Jazz and the Boston Celtics, two teams who hope to make deep playoff runs in their respective conferences. This game is also the featured Showdown contest on DraftKings, so let’s discuss some players to target as you build your lineups.

SHOWDOWN STRATEGY
Captain’s Pick
Donovan Mitchell ($14,100 CP): Mitchell is coming off of one of his best games of the season, falling a rebound shy of a triple-double against the Pacers on Sunday. He was his usual potent self on the offensive end, scoring 27 points on a whopping 25 shot attempts. It’s also worth noting that he dished out a season-high 11 assists with Mike Conley Jr. (hamstring) sidelined. With Conley out once again Tuesday, Mitchell has the potential to again provide added assists to go along with his likely lofty contributions in the scoring column.
Rudy Gobert ($12,600 CP): The Celtics don’t have great depth at center, even with the addition of Tristan Thompson ($4,800). They’ll have their hands full against Gobert, who has averaged 38.6 DKFP per game for the season. He’s about as consistent as it gets, logging a double-double in 18 of 24 games this season while averaging 2.7 blocks per contest. That makes him an extremely appealing for this spot.

FLEX Plays
Jayson Tatum ($10,200): Tatum is also an option for the Captain’s Pick, especially if Jaylen Brown (knee) is forced to miss his third straight game. However, his salary is the highest on the slate, so rolling with either Mitchell or Gobert at that spot and playing Tatum at the flex can give you some more flexibility with your budget. In fact, if you deploy Gobert at the Captain’s spot, you could actually fit all three players into your lineup without having to completely punt a flex spot.
Jordan Clarkson ($7,200): Clarkson is having arguably the best season of his career despite only averaging 25 minutes per game. He enters this contest with averages of 17.5 points, 4.4 rebounds and 3.1 three-pointers. He’s averaged 14 shot attempts per contest for the season, but he jacked up 19 shots with Conley out Sunday. Expect him to continue to see added scoring opportunities in this game.
Payton Pritchard ($4,400): Pritchard recently missed six games because of injury, but the Celtics sure are happy to have him back given the injuries to Brown and Marcus Smart (calf). Across 23 minutes against a tough Suns defense Sunday, Pritchard chipped in 12 points, five rebounds, an assist and four three-pointers. If Brown is out again, Pritchard feels like a lock at this salary. Even if Brown does play, though, Pritchard could still log enough minutes with Smart out to provide value.
Fades
Royce O’Neale ($6,200): The Jazz don’t ask for much from O’Neale on the offensive end, evident by his 9.6 percent usage rate. That’s nothing new for him, either, given that he also had a 9.6 percent usage rate last season. The result has been him averaging just 22.8 DKFP per game, which doesn’t make him all that appealing given his salary.

The Outcome
If Brown doesn’t play, this game could get out of hand in a hurry. However, even if he does take the floor, this is a tough matchup for the Celtics. The Jazz are as hot as it gets after winning 15 of their last 16 games. Also, the Celtics are just 7-7 on the road. Look for the Jazz to emerge victorious again.
Final Score: Jazz 113, Celtics 108
