Happy Hump Day! We have a tasty 10 NBA games to pick from tonight, and with plenty of teams like the Boston Celtics and Washington Wizards dealing with back-to-backs, we can pick some values from the benches of tired teams for your DraftKings lineups. We’re already running through some lower-cost options, but more could be available later on in the day with injury news coming in, so be sure to follow @dklive on Twitter and download the DK Live app to stay up-to-the-minute with all the latest news leading up to tipoff. We’ll let you know who should see an uptick in minutes.

There are plenty of high-profile, high-priced options that are worth considering at the top of the salary structure, but you’ll need to balance out some of those hefty salaries with some cheap plays as well. Check out these four players who seem primed to outproduce their minimal salaries based on form, matchup and expected workload.

C Guillermo Hernangomez, New Orleans Pelicans vs. Phoenix Suns, $3,900

Steven Adams has been hurt for the past two games, and Plan A for the Pelicans was to go to Jaxson Hayes ($4,300), who’s been the backup center all year long. He was fine in limited minutes against the Rockets, but evidently not good enough. Stan Van Gundy decided to dust off Hernangomez, who basically hasn’t played all season save for a few short appearances in blowouts, and he was rewarded in a big way. The journeyman played 29 great minutes against the Kings, going for 13 & 11. Adams is once again questionable against the Suns, and if he doesn’t go, I love Hernangomez in this spot. The matchup isn’t the greatest against the Suns, who rebound well, but it wasn’t great against Sacramento either and Hernangomez still thrived on the glass. Keep a close eye on injury news surrounding Adams as we get closer to tip.

PG Ish Smith, Washington Wizards at Miami Heat, $4,800

Sure, he’s a bit pricy, but Smith is an absolute must-play here with both Wizards point guards — Russell Westbrook and Raul Neto — ruled out. Smith has already been hitting value of late, going for an average of 25.4 DKFP over the last four games, and the matchup here isn’t horrible against a Heat side ranked 17th in DKFP against opposing point guards. Smith, a veteran, has started plenty of games, and should be relied upon in a big way here and be afforded all the minutes he can handle.

SG/SF Luke Kennard, Los Angeles Clippers at Cleveland Cavaliers, $4,100

Most of the Clippers’ role players come with a hefty pricetag, so this is our only real opportunity to capitalize on Los Angeles’ back-to-back at a considerable discount. The Clippers have played three B2Bs this year, and in all three Kennard has seen at least 18 minutes, with a high of 22. I realize he hasn’t been fantastic this season, but he’s had three games where he posted 28+ DKFP in his last 10, and tends to have a floor around 20 DKFP when he’s seeing the floor for 20 or more minutes. He should get plenty of run here with the Clippers a bit banged up and tired after playing a grueling game against the Nets on Tuesday. Fire up Kennard.

PG/SG Jeff Teague ($4,700) and PG/SG Carsen Edwards ($3,400), Boston Celtics at Sacramento Kings

With no Marcus Smart, Kemba Walker and Payton Pritchard for this one, the minutes at point guard are going to have to go to someone. I’m also super bullish on any Celtics point guard against this atrocious Kings defense, which ranks at the very bottom of the league in Defensive Rating. Jeff Teague ($4,700) is a great play, though hard to consider a value, so maybe look to Carsen Edwards ($3,400) if you want a GPP punt.
