Welcome to the Divisional Round’s top fantasy football stacks analysis, where we’ll look at some of the best passing game options to consider for the Saturday-Sunday DraftKings NFL slate. The concept to care about here is that quarterbacks and pass-catchers generally have correlated fantasy point totals, meaning that one of them scoring points corresponds to the chances of the other one scoring points. For GPPs, we’ll want to keep an eye on ownership estimates, too, so the goal is to present a comprehensive breakdown of which passing game combinations could provide an edge in DraftKings DFS tournaments.

3. Patrick Mahomes ($8,000)/Tyreek Hill ($8,000)/Travis Kelce ($7,800), Kansas City Chiefs vs. Cleveland Browns
Mahomes is always the best quarterback of any slate he plays on — and he’s normally in contention for the most popular DFS quarterback too — and this week is no exception as he figures to be highly owned in a good matchup against the Browns. Even so, Chiefs stacks still may be undervalued this week with Lamar Jackson ($7,600), Josh Allen ($7,400), and Aaron Rodgers ($6,900) eating into Mahomes’ ownership. This is an unusual case where the most popular play isn’t as popular as he should be, and this could be because Hill and Kelce are a much more expensive duo than the top two options of any of the other teams this weekend. Nonetheless, the Chiefs have as much upside as anyone and still warrant strong consideration.
2. Drew Brees ($5,600)/Alvin Kamara ($7,900)/Michael Thomas ($6,700), New Orleans Saints vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Saints have already beaten the Bucs twice this season and those first two games were actually the first two games of the season for Michael Thomas, who missed nearly two months of action between Week 1 and Week 9. Thomas was held in check in both of those games and has had a down season overall due to injuries, but he bounced back in a big way with five catches for 73 yards and a touchdown last week against the Bears. Alvin Kamara surely won’t be low-owned since he almost never is, but Brees and Thomas make for an intriguing duo this week with the field likely sleeping on them to a large extent.
1. Tom Brady ($6,300)/Mike Evans ($6,400)/Chris Godwin ($6,100)/Antonio Brown ($5,400), Tampa Bay Buccaneers at New Orleans Saints
It just appears as though Saints vs. Bucs is an overlooked game this weekend and that makes Brady and Co. very appealing as well, but even more so than the Saints given their depth at receiver and the frequency with which they pass the ball. With receivers like Hill, Stefon Diggs ($7,300), Jarvis Landry ($5,600) and especially Marquise Brown ($5,200) being popular picks in the same price range, there’s just no way that enough DFS players will be getting to the Bucs trio. All three are good options and all three should come at ownership discounts compared to the aforementioned group.
