It’s Tuesday, which means we’ve got a short, yet fun six-game NBA slate to watch. With some exciting teams like the Nuggets, Nets and Warriors in action, let’s survey for some player props, totals and sides to take on DraftKings Sportsbook. Denver Nuggets vs. Brooklyn Nets:

Nuggets ML (+102)

I just think there’s too much working in the Nuggets’ favor here. For starters, they’ve been in New York for a few days now after playing the Knicks, so not only will they be rested but they won’t have to deal with the fatigue that west coast teams deal with when flying east. Second of all, though the Nets saw the return of Kevin Durant against the Thunder in their last game, they not only lost but played awful defense. Brooklyn put forth its second-worst defensive game of the season, allowing 124 points per 100 possessions. After Brooklyn looked to be righting the ship on defense, Durant’s re-introduction to the starting five seems to have reverted the Nets back to their turnstyle ways. That type of defensive effort isn’t going to fly against an efficient offense like the Nuggets.

Indiana Pacers vs. Golden State Warriors:

Warriors -3 (-112)

The Pacers just played an atrocious game on both ends against one of the weaker teams in the Kings, shooting miserably from deep and allowing a boatload of points, and now they have to face Golden State on a back-to-back. The Warriors have allowed just 106.8 points per 100 possessions over their past five games, 10th-best in NBA, and they’ve given up just 39.6 points in the paint during that span, which ranks second. I’m not about to bet on the tired legs of Victor Oladipo, who shot 2-11 from three last night, or Malcolm Brogdon, who exerted 100% effort on Monday.

San Antonio Spurs vs. Oklahoma City Thunder:

Thunder +2.5 (-114)

Has anyone noticed the Thunder have covered and won in three straight, and four of five? This team is set up to tank, yet the efforts on a nightly basis from Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and company have been admirable. The Thunder are coming off their best offensive outing of the entire season, a win over the Nets, in which they flexed their best Ast/TO ratio of the year at 2.18. San Antonio is dealing with a whole host of injuries, including key players DeMar DeRozan and Derrick White, and I fully expect OKC to capitalize with another huge night, keeping the momentum going.
