After a round of FA Cup fixtures, most clubs return to the EPL in the middle of this week. Two games, including Manchester United’s trip to Burnley, constitute DraftKings’ EPL slate on Tuesday. We make some suggestions to help you draft your team below.

James Rodriguez ($10,500)

Rodriguez made an immediate impact after coming on as a substitute in Everton’s FA Cup extra-time win on the weekend. In the Premier League, Rodriguez has been a pivotal player. He has scored three goals on 22 shots taken, with three assists. More importantly, he has brought some quality to the deliveries in the box and offensive urgency to Everton’s style of play.

Values

Anthony Martial ($8,700)

Martial hasn’t quite hit his best form yet this season, at least compared to a goal-filled 2019-20 campaign. Still, he has provided plenty of value for manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer because he can play the central striker role or enter an attacking phase from the left flank. He has chipped in with three assists and has also taken 24 shots this season, ranked third for Manchester United in both metrics.

Midfielders

Studs

Bruno Fernandes ($11,800)

Fernandes isn’t a hard choice here. He is easily the most valuable player on this slate despite his incredibly high price. He is leading Manchester United in all three key fantasy offensive metrics this season: goals scored (11, third-most in the EPL), assists (7, also third-most in the league) and shots taken (51). He has also racked up 884 passes, an indicator of how important he is as a playmaker.

Values

Marcus Rashford ($9,200)

A price of $9,200 isn’t exactly a valuable choice but if he was not surrounded by this level of quality, his price would have been much higher. That’s where you could derive value from Rashford. He is only behind Fernandes in all offensive metrics this season for his club: goals scored (7), assists (4) and shots taken (43). Against Burnley, Rashford will fancy his chances of adding to all of these tallies.

Defenders

Studs

Lucas Digne ($7,300)

Digne is leading Everton in assists this season (4). This is because he is entrusted with picking up the set-pieces, including corners, for Everton. That offensive output is also why he is the most expensive defender on this slate. Apart from a 3-3 draw against Brighton in the previous game, Wolves hasn’t scored too many goals either. At home, Everton might be too strong.

Values

Romain Saiss ($3,800)

When picking fantasy defenders, the first point of analysis should be offensive nature. Most full-backs are targets in the six-yard box during dead-ball situations because of their height, like Saiss. He has already scored a few goals this season in that style. His affordable price of $3,800 makes him a value choice.

Goalkeepers

David de Gea ($5,800)

Burnley has managed to accumulate 16 points despite scoring just nine goals this season. That throws some glaring insight into the way in which Burnley play soccer: slow and methodical. When Burnley faces top-half opponents, goals are usually few and far between. De Gea, if he gets the start, should keep a rare clean sheet on the road.
