Sunday was the second of back-to-back days with a Milly Maker tournament, as DraftKings celebrated the first Super Wild Card Weekend with two huge GPP tournaments. Sunday it was the $2.25M Wild Card Millionaire contest that gave players a chance to turn a $25 entry into a $1 Million top prize. Contest Leaderboard

The first two playoff matchups of Sunday didn’t yield a ton of fantasy points as the Ravens picked up a 20-13 win and the Saints won 21-9. Almost 50% of entries in the Milly Maker were in on Derrick Henry ($9,200; 8.1 DKFP), who struggled to just 8.1 DKFP. The two big performers from the early game were Lamar Jackson ($7,800; 28.76 DKFP) and Marquise Brown ($5,400; 22.8 DKFP) while both D/STs were also solid plays.

In the middle game, Alvin Kamara ($8,500; 19.6 DKFP) and Michael Thomas ($6,300; 18.3 DKFP) both had solid games in their return and helped an entry from ‘Cozz8787’ to take sole possession of the lead with 135.96 DKFP. However, it was clear early on in the nightcap that that lead would not hold. In fact, it didn’t even take long for the Browns to become the slate’s highest-scoring team, as Cleveland racked up an eye-popping 28 points before the final whistle of the first quarter, on its way to an eventual 48-37 victory over Pittsburgh.

Basically, if you didn’t stack the late game, you didn’t have a chance to take home the Sunday Milly Maker. Strangely enough, with how the script played out, it was the Steelers’ skill-position players that you needed to own. In his winning lineup, ‘bmarq1’ had Ben Roethlisberger ($6,100; 37.04 DKFP), JuJu Smith-Schuster ($5,500; 37.7 DKFP), Chase Claypool ($5,200; 22.9 DKFP), Diontae Johnson ($6,200; 25.7 DKFP) and Eric Ebron ($3,700; 19.2 DKFP). These are the kind of things that can take place when Roethlisberger is asked to throw 68 times and winds up with 501 yards and four touchdowns.

Fantasy Football Highlights

Cleveland Browns vs. Pittsburgh Steelers — Second Half

You were probably starting to sweat a little bit if you’re a Browns fan mid-way through the third quarter. After trailing by 25 points at the half, the Steelers’ offense came out of the break on fire, with their two opening drives leading to Ebron and Smith-Schuster touchdowns — the latter coming on a huge fourth down conversion that you can see below.

However, Cleveland was able to squash the comeback effort with a crucial 40-yard touchdown pass to Nick Chubb ($6,700; 24.5 DKFP) to start the fourth quarter. A few minutes later, Roethlisberger threw his fourth interception of the evening, and everything was all but settled. Even without Kevin Stefanski around to call plays, the Browns won their first playoff game since 1994 and will now go on to face the Chiefs in Kansas City next weekend.

Cleveland Browns vs. Pittsburgh Steelers — First Half

From the first offensive snap of this game, you things weren’t going to be easy for Pittsburgh. As you’ll see in the highlight below, a terrible snap sailed over Ben Roethlisberger’s ($6,100; 4.08 DKFP) head, and that’s when Browns D/ST ($2,500; 18.0 DKFP) was able to recover the fumble and put Cleveland up with a quick touchdown.

The Steelers didn’t shake off the rough start, either. Jarvis Landry ($5,800; 12.4 DKFP) slashed through the defense for a 40-yard score on the Browns’ next possession, while the next two Cleveland drives ended with Hunt finding his way into the end zone. When it was all said and done, the Browns led 35-10 at the half and the team tied a franchise record for points in the half of a playoff game that was set all the way back in 1954. Roethlisberger threw three interceptions, helping Cleveland along the way.

Chicago Bears vs. New Orleans Saints — Second Half

The Saints started the second half with a 7-3 lead, and they were able to hold the Bears on the opening possession of the third quarter. New Orleans then marched down the field and got this score to expand their lead to double-digits on this touchdown from Drew Brees ($5,700; 18.8 DKFP) to Latavius Murray ($4,500; 10.0 DKFP)

The Bears punted again and still had not converted a third or fourth down as the game reached the end of the third quarter. They were also under 100 net passing yards at that point and continued to call plays very conservatively, seeming to not trust their offense to make any plays down the field. In contrast, the Saints continued to move the ball well and converted for another touchdown as Alvin Kamara ($8,500; 19.6 DKFP) set off the slime cannons once again.

On their next drive, the Saints drove and burned most of the time left in the game but came up just short of the end zone, giving the ball back to the Bears at the one-yard line. Chicago did drive the length of the field and score a touchdown on the final play of the game — a one-handed grab from Jimmy Graham ($3,300; 10.5 DKFP). It didn’t change the outcome, but the fantasy points could end up being important for Graham and Mitchell Trubisky ($5,300; 12.96 DKFP) investors.

Chicago Bears vs. New Orleans Saints — First Half

The Saints got off to a good start but their first drive stalled out at about midfield. After a three-and-out for the Bears, Drew Brees ($5,700) then hit Michael Thomas ($6,400) for the first touchdown of the game and his first trip to the end zone in over a full calendar year. Since the game was also airing on Nickelodeon, the broadcast celebrated the touchdown with some appropriate special effects.

The Nickelodeon references continued to roll in when Javon Wims ($3,000) let a touchdown slip through his fingers. Wims had beef with the Bears after his Week 8 ejection, but there was no sweet revenge to be had on this play.

After Wil Lutz missed a field goal for the Saints, Cairo Santos kicked a FG that almost nailed Spongebob, according to the highlight below.

Despite Twitter having plenty of fun with all the Nickelodeon references, the Saints continued turnover issues were no laughing matter. A fumble from Taysom Hill ($5,000) ended a drive by the Saints but the Bears couldn’t capitalize before the Saints

Baltimore Ravens vs. Tennessee Titans — Second Half

The Ravens were down 10-0 early in the first half, but they were able to take a 17-10 lead after a touchdown from J.K. Dobbins ($6,600) on the opening drive of the second half, which was highlighted by another big run from Lamar Jackson ($7,800). After a pair of punts, the Titans got a field goal to cut the lead to 17-13.

Following an uncharacteristic miss from Justin Tucker, the Titans had good field position near midfield early in the fourth quarter, but they were unable to put any points on the board. Tucker converted a 51-yard field goal to put Baltimore up 20-13 with just under five minutes left in the game. The Titans had a chance to tie the game, but Ryan Tannehill ($6,600) threw the interception in the highlight below.

After the turnover, Jackson ripped off another big run to put the game away and secure his first career playoff victory. He and the Ravens will take on either the Bills or the Chiefs next week.

Baltimore Ravens vs. Tennessee Titans — First Half

Both teams went three-and-out on their opening possession, but then the Titans got on the board by feeding A.J. Brown ($7,100), who hauled in the first score of the game in the highlight below. Ryan Tannehill ($6,600) started hot as well, going 7-for-7 with 105 yards including this touchdown:

After a Lamar Jackson ($7,800) interception, the Titans tacked on a field goal to go up, 10-0. The Ravens responded with a field goal of their own and then got a big play from Jackson to tie up the game, 10-10.

Both teams had chances to add points, but both defenses had big stops to keep the game tied at the half.
