Fantasy Esports Picks: CS:GO (ESL) Top DraftKings DFS Targets for September 8

The ESL Pro League resumes on Tuesday with four more games from both regions – Europe and North America. We break down some of the selections to consider for DraftKings’ main ESL slate on Tuesday.

Captain

Allu ($12,900)

ENCE is ranked No. 26 in the world. That’s one of the major reasons Allu doesn’t quite get the recognition he deserves. From a purely statistical standpoint, his career stats are almost as good as anyone’s in the professional circuit. In the previous game against Natus Vincere, Allu led the demolition of the former No. 1 team with 42 kills and just 30 deaths, with a game-leading KAST of 77.4%.

Others to consider: Niko ($13,200)

High-priced flex options

Niko ($8,800)

Here is a K-D you will rarely see adjacent to Niko. He had 18 kills and 39 deaths against Astralis with a K-D of -21 and an ADR of just 62.7. He is unlikely to have two such performances in a row. He is one of the most skilled offensive players in professional CS:GO. He is averaging 66.9 DKFP per game, highest for any player on this slate.

KennyS ($8,000)

KennyS has flown under the G2 radar in the past few months. That’s because the roster is quickly evolving to not rely on just one or two players. That also allows KennyS to perform at his best at a role that suits him well, which occasionally also includes handling the AWP. There is a case to be made that he could even be in the value category at a price of just $8,000, especially considering he averages 64.7 DKFP per game, second highest on this slate.

Stavn ($8,000)

It was only going to be a matter of time before Heroic started losing a few games after a dream run in August. Top-tier CS:GO is a little like the MLB, where the skill difference between the best and the rest isn’t that high. It’s now important for Stavn to help his team out of this temporary mire. He has been the team’s best player, which will also be important for his confidence.

Others to consider: Nexa ($8,400).

Value flex options

Brollan ($7,800)

Brollan and Fnatic have been a bit underwhelming in the last month or so. In the last game against Mousesports, Fnatic was beaten, 2-1. Brollan had a steady game, with 57 kills and 61 deaths. From a fantasy perspective, that’s still quite good. However, for a player of his caliber, his team would be expecting a lot more.

BnTeT ($7,600)

BnTeT is in fantastic form. He could lose this explosive killing proficiency soon, which is why he should be a valuable pick when he is hot. In the previous game, he single-handedly dominated Triumph with 54 kills and 29 deaths at an average damage per round of 98.3. He had a 1v4 clutch win in the first map and an ace (all five kills in a single round) in the second map with a 1v2 clutch win.

Others to consider: Krimz ($7,200).
