POINT GUARD

Stud

Russell Westbrook, HOU vs. LAL ($8,600) — The minutes restriction is off. After missing the start of the playoffs because of a quad injury, Westbrook struggled in limited minutes playing in the final games of the Rockets’ series against the Thunder. This is no longer an issue and he scored 44.25 DKFP with a 43.6% usage rating against the Lakers in Game 1. His price likely won’t be this cheap for the rest of the postseason.

Value

Eric Bledsoe, MIL vs. MIA ($5,600) — Giannis Antetokounmpo is questionable to play after injuring his ankle. If he’s out, the Bucks easily become the top source of value on the slate. There is a massive void in minutes and usage to fill if Giannis isn’t able to play. When he’s off the court, Bledsoe has a 31.5% usage rating and scores 49.85 DKFP per 36 minutes.

SHOOTING GUARD

Stud

James Harden, HOU vs. LAL ($11,200) — Harden struggled in Game 7 against the Thunder and bounced back in a big way against the Lakers. Los Angeles doesn’t have the same perimeter defenders that the Thunder have like Lu Dort and Chris Paul, so this is an easier matchup for Harden. He scored 36 points on 60% shooting in Game 1 and his fantasy production was only held back because Houston won in a blowout. Harden wasn’t needed to play down the stretch and the Rockets will likely need him more in the fourth quarter today.

Value

Donte DiVincenzo, MIL vs. MIA ($3,300) — DiVincenzo was a more prominent part of the rotation last game. He played 21 minutes, the most he’s played in the playoffs. This is about in line with his season average. During the regular season, DiVincenzo played 20 minutes per game coming off the bench and averaged 19.9 DKFP. His price tag is a bit too cheap assuming he’s back to playing the same role he did during the season.

SMALL FORWARD

Stud

Khris Middleton, MIL vs. MIA ($8,100) — If Giannis is out, Middleton is going to have to take a ton of shots today. He leads the Bucks with a 33.7% usage rating when Giannis is off the court and scores 50.53 DKFP per 36 minutes. Even if Giannis is in, I expect him to be at less than 100% which will force the Bucks to run the offense more through Middleton than normal.

Value

Kyle Kuzma, LAL vs. HOU ($4,800) — To say the least, Game 1 of this series did not go the Lakers’ way. At least for fantasy, one positive sign is that Kuzma nearly played 30 minutes. The Lakers might have to play more small lineups to match up with the Rockets and this would mean extra playing time for Kuzma. Now he has to actually make some of his shots.

POWER FORWARD

Stud

Anthony Davis, LAL vs. HOU ($10,600) — There is no denying that P.J. Tucker did a tremendous job guarding AD in the first game of the series. He was forced into a number of difficult shots and it looked like Tucker was able to bully Davis for stretches of the game. Even so, AD scored 56.5 DKFP. He’s scored over 50 DKFP in five of six playoff games.

Value

Marvin Williams, MIL vs. MIA ($3,500) — Williams isn’t a great option although none of the cheap power forwards are. The best course is paying up at the position. If you’re desperate to save money, Williams could play bigger minutes if Giannis doesn’t play. He scored 18.25 DKFP in Game 3, so at least there is some hope that you can punt with Williams and not have him destroy a lineup.

CENTER

Stud

Bam Adebayo, MIA vs. MIL ($8,300) — While Jimmy Butler is getting all the attention, Bam is having an under the radar series. Outside of getting into foul trouble and fouling out in Game 2, he scored 49 DKFP and 46.75 DKFP in the other two games of the series. It doesn’t look like the Bucks have many answers for Bam’s versatility.

Value

Brook Lopez, MIL vs. MIA ($5,800) — As hesitant as Bud is to play starters extended minutes, this didn’t apply to Lopez in Game 3. He played 38 minutes and scored 35.5 DKFP. He’s made 10 threes in this series and Milwaukee has needed his shooting because of how often they have trailed late in games against the Heat.
