The playoffs of League of Legends competitions around the world resume this weekend, with the final of the LCK and other crucial games from the LCS and the LEC. We take a look at players to consider across the tournaments for your DraftKings roster on Saturday.

Captain
ShowMaker ($11,400)
ShowMaker, in my opinion, has been the MVP in the LCK. He has had a terrific summer split, in which he managed 4.15 kills, 0.74 deaths and 7.74 assists. That gave him a regular-season KDA of 16! In a slow, methodical league like the LCK, those are just stellar numbers. He won’t let up in the biggest stage of the LCK’s summer season.

Top
Wunder ($6,400)
Wunder’s kill rate wasn’t in question in summer. His death rate was. He was killed an average of 2.72 times per map, which is far too high for a player of his caliber. He has been solid in the assistance of his team-mates though, which has been one of his better metrics this season (5.06 assists per map).
Others to consider: TheShy ($6,400)
Jungler
Spica ($6,000)
This won’t be a very popular choice this slate. Many might disagree with this choice, but I feel TSM has a really good chance at the upset against Liquid in this game. Apart from that, Spica’s price of $6,000 will ensure you won’t have to fret about player salary for the rest of this slate. Spica had a kill participation of close to 9.0 during the regular season.
Others to consider: Jankos ($7,200)
Mid
Caps ($7,800)
There are many respectable choices but Caps has been the player of the LCS for me. When G2 was struggling through the first half of the summer split, Caps ensured his team stayed relevant. He has been G2’s best player this season, averaging a team-high 4.78 kills and 5.28 assists per map during the regular season. He also had the highest KDA (4.76) in his team.
Others to consider: Jensen ($7,200)
ADC
Perkz ($8,000)
Perkz started this summer season quite slowly, but quickly regained his lost momentum thereafter. G2 finished the regular season on a six-game winning streak and Perkz had a lot to do with that. He managed 3.88 kills after lingering close to three for the majority of the split, indicative of the rhythm he has found in the latter half of this split.
Others to consider: Ghost ($7,600)
Support
BeryL ($5,400)
In 39 games of the LCK prior to the playoffs, BeryL had a kill participation of exactly 10. More than 20% of that was through kills, which is extremely high for a support player. He had a KDA of 5.2, which is also atypical for a player in this category. He could provide real differentiation to your roster.
Team
Damwon Gaming ($5,400)
Damwon was the team to beat in the regular season of the LCK. In 39 games, Damwon managed to win 34. In a competitive league like the LCK, that’s almost unprecedented. There has been additional rest as well, so expect the roster to come out refreshed for this series in the grand final.
