We are scheduled to have a busy Tuesday across baseball with 10 games making up the main slate on DraftKings. Weather could be an issue in a few spots, so be sure to watch out for updates leading up to the evening. As you work on building your entries, here are five stacks to consider that could prove to be profitable.

1. Colorado Rockies

The Rockies playing at Coors Field is usually a situation to exploit. It also helps their cause Tuesday that Kevin Gausman ($5,700) will be starting for the Giants. He’s had a difficult time keeping men off base, which has resulted in him recording a WHIP of at least 1.42 in two of the last three seasons. He also doesn’t miss many bats given his career 21.7 percent strikeout rate. Across his first two games this season, he’s allowed six runs (five earned) and 13 base runners through eight and one third innings. Expect the Rockies to be one of the chalk stacks of the evening, and rightfully so.

2. Los Angeles Angels

After a slow start, the Angels’ offense is starting to heat up, scoring at least five runs in each of their last six games. They will look to keep things rolling against the Mariners, who they averaged 7.3 runs against in a three-game series earlier this season. One of those games came with Justin Dunn ($4,900) starting for the Mariners, who will draw the start again Tuesday. He was roughed up in their first matchup, allowing three runs (two earned) across three innings. The former first-round pick has only thrown nine and two thirds career innings in the majors, so look for the Angels to exploit his inexperience once again. Keep an eye out for the status of Mike Trout ($6,200), who is expected to rejoin the team after the birth of his child.

3. Washington Nationals

The Nationals will begin their series with the Mets by facing Steven Matz ($7,400). The key to this game is that it will be played in Washington. Matz was excellent at Citi Field in 2019, recording a 3.46 FIP and a 1.15 WHIP in his home park. On the flip side, he had a 6.04 FIP and a 1.58 WHIP on the road. What could also make things more difficult on Matz is the potential return of Juan Soto ($4,900), who is expected to be cleared from local health standards in time for this contest after a previous positive COVID-19 test. Even Howie Kendrick ($3,700) could return from his back injury.

4. San Francisco Giants

The Giants have exceeded expectations in the scoring department so far, averaging 4.9 runs a game. They scored six runs in a series-opening loss Monday and will look to keep their bats going against German Marquez ($8,100). After a breakout 2018 season, Marquez took a step backward last season with a 4.76 ERA and a 4.06 FIP. One of the main reasons for his regression was that he allowed 1.5 HR/9. He’s off to a great start through two outings, but it should be noted that both of them came in pitcher-friendly environments on the road. Coors Field is an entirely different animal.

5. Houston Astros

After an illustrious career with the Giants, Madison Bumgarner ($7,200) joined the Diamondbacks during the offseason. He’s not anywhere near the pitcher that he once was in his prime and his home/road splits are concerning. He had a 3.48 FIP and a 0.93 WHIP at Oracle Park last year, but he registered a 4.51 FIP and a 1.41 WHIP on the road. Now that he no longer has the advantage of pitching at Oracle Park, his numbers could be even further on the decline. Facing the Astros likely won’t help his cause Tuesday given their wealth of right-handed hitters who crush lefties. One of them is Alex Bregman ($5,000), who had a 205 wRC+ versus southpaws in 2019.
