Quarterback

Stud

Lamar Jackson, BAL vs. ATL, $7,600 —If I honestly have to explain why Jackson is the top play on this slate, I’d advise you to go on YouTube and watch some Jackson highlights. The dynamic and mobile quarterback enters this game averaging 165.2 passing yards and 69.7 rushing yards with 60 touchdowns thrown and 29 on the ground. The Falcons will provide little resistance against the speedy Jackson.

Value

Aaron Rodgers, GB at NYJ, $7,100 — The quarterbacks are all essentially lumped together in terms of salary so we don’t exactly have one of those value plays to use. Overall, Rodgers is in one of the best matchups on the slate in terms of the secondary he’s facing. The Jets are one of the worst in the league against the pass, putting Rodgers in a great spot. He sports an average of 232 passing yards with 81 touchdowns thrown and 17 DKFP.

Running Back

Stud

Tevin Coleman, SF at TB, $6,500 — You’re always going to want to roll with the running back who is averaging over 100 scrimmage yards per game, which is what Coleman is doing. His numbers are just insane, seeing 104 scrimmage yards per game with 42 total touchdowns scored. The majority of those TDs have come on the ground but he also has four through the air to his credit as well. While we’ve seen some single-digit performances from him as of late, we’ve also seen a 44.7 DKFP game as well, showing you the massive ceiling he can reach.

Value

Dare Ogunbowale, TB vs. SF, $3,000 — On the other side of the ball, Ogunbowale is good for a couple of receptions per game, giving you some cheap PPR points if you’re in need of salary savings. He doesn’t get a ton of work overall but we’ve seen him make two or three receptions at times, which is all you can ask for at this price range. At just $3K, his 24.8 scrimmage yards per game will do the trick.

Wide Receiver

Stud

Davante Adams, GB at NYJ, $6,800 — As I mentioned, the Jets’ secondary is not going to strike fear into any opposing receiver, putting Adams in a fantastic position. He continues to be a favorite target of Rodgers, averaging 4.4 receptions, 78.3 receiving yards and 31 touchdowns scored. Adams and the Packers have yet to play the Jets as of yet but he’s coming off a game against a poor Bucs secondary in which he made nine catches for 146 yards.

Value

Demaryius Thomas, NYJ vs. GB, $4,000 — Sticking with the same game, the Jets will likely be playing catch up in this one, giving plenty of opportunities for the Jets’ receivers. Thomas has been a big part of this offense, averaging 3.5 receptions, 49.3 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns scored. While his lack of scoring is a concern, four of those touchdowns have come in the past three games. If Robby Anderson ($6,100) ends up being tied down by a fairly tough Packers secondary, Thomas could soak up some extra targets.

Tight End

Stud

George Kittle, SF at TB, $5,800 — It’s hard to not want the target monster Kittle on your team, seeing as he’s averaging a massive five targets per game. He’s turned that into an average of 72.5 receiving yards and 19 touchdowns scored. The Bucs aren’t going to be able to stop him in this matchup and he’s coming off a game where he made 10 receptions for 93 yards and two touchdowns against the Falcons, another team that struggles against this position.

Value

Austin Hooper, ATL at BAL, $4,400 — Hooper has been a great source of cheap fantasy points, bumping his season average to 10.8. Over his past five games, Hooper is averaging a massive 6.2 receptions, 81.2 yards with two touchdowns scored. The Ravens certainly aren’t a team I’m looking to target against on a normal basis but if Hooper is going to continue to be involved as much as he is, Hooper presents a fantastic value.

DST

Packers DST at NYJ, $3,000 — The Packers are the most “expensive” DST on the board but the number of interceptions they’ve logged blows away what anyone else has on the slate. Facing Sam Darnold ($6,000) doesn’t hurt either, as he’s thrown 19 of his own, which could lead to padding the 21 total by the Pack.
