We love stacking teams. I know you love stacking teams because you’re here in this article. So since you were kind enough to join me, I’ll give you my five favorite DraftKings stacks of the evening on what should be a night of baseball filled with offense.
As always, you can reach me on the ol’ Twitter machine @SBuchanan24.

1. Cleveland Indians
The Indians are my favorite stack once again as they continue their series against the Pirates. Trevor Williams ($5,600), who DID NOT contract COVID-19, as it was the Pirates President TRAVIS Williams who did. Anyways, Williams has a 4.62 FIP on the season with a 1.33 HR/9 through 20.1 innings pitched. The Indians FINALLY look as if they’re coming around offensively, as they’ve scored six runs in both games against the Pirates and are averaging 6.6 runs over their last five games. With all this in mind and a shaky Pirates bullpen, they’re once again my go-to stack for tonight.
Players to Consider
Jose Ramirez ($5,300)
Franmil Reyes ($4,200)
Francisco Lindor ($5,200)
Domingo Santana ($3,500)
Cesar Hernandez ($4,500)
2. Milwaukee Brewers
Did the Brewers’ lineup finally wake up last night after scoring nine runs on the Twins? The jury is still out on that thought but one thing is for sure, they have a great chance to keep that momentum going tonight against Jose Berrios ($9,000). He might be the most aggravating pitcher that’s consistently priced above $9K because you can never figure him out. His 5.03 FIP, 1.4 HR/9 and 49.3% hard-hit rate has me staying far away from rostering him, so why not stack against him? If the Brewers finally found their mojo at the plate, you could still potentially grab them at low ownership this afternoon, giving you a solid, contrarian build.
Players to Consider
Christian Yelich ($5,100)
Keston Hiura ($4,400)
Justin Smoak ($3,200)
Ryan Braun ($3,700)
Avisail Garcia ($3,400)
3. Arizona Diamondbacks
Sigh. I was hesitant about including the Diamondbacks because they burned me hard last night. But, today is a new day (at least it better be). Sean Manaea ($8,100) has had a really tough start to the season and it’s been justified. His FIP is at 4.04, he’s allowed a 40% hard-hit rate and he’s not fooling batters with a drop in his swing-and-miss rate from 12% last season to 9.5% thus far. The D-Backs are another team that has been coming around offensively (except for last night, of course) and have some good bats against lefties. This should be another team that won’t get a ton of attention so ownership is not an issue here. Not only that, this stack will come on the cheap, giving you a great tournament option to pair with some of the top pitchers on this slate like Shane Bieber ($10,600) and Clayton Kershaw ($10,200).
Players to Consider
Ketel Marte ($4,000)
Eduardo Escobar ($3,900)
Starling Marte ($4,000)
Christian Walker ($3,500)
Nick Ahmed ($3,000)

4. Baltimore Orioles
Nathan Eovaldi ($5,900) is a total boom-or-bust option when he takes the mound, so it’s hard to nail down how he’ll do. However, if there is one thing we know, he REALLY struggles against lefties. Since the beginning of last season, Eovaldi has posted a .371 wOBA and a 6.49 FIP, which are the worst on this slate. The Orioles have some good left-handed bats to use as well as some power righties, making this a good potential spot for the O’s. Believe it or not, this has been one of the best teams in the majors hitting the over on their game total with a 12-9-3 record.
Players to Consider
Anthony Santander ($4,300)
Renato Nunez ($4,200)
Rio Ruiz ($3,700)
Dwight Smith Jr ($3,800)
Perdo Severino ($4,600)
5. San Diego Padres
The Padres continue to hit and could keep that trend going against Kyle Gibson ($7,300) this evening. Gibson has been decent in a Rangers uniform but the strikeouts are down and his hard contact allowed sits at 45.8%. The Rangers’ bullpen behind him has been one of the worst in the league as well, opening up numerous opportunities for the Padres to score some runs. Despite how well they continue to hit, people seem to keep ignoring them for whatever reason, so I’d be more than happy to take them at low ownership with the exception of Fernando Tatis Jr.
Players to Consider
Fernando Tatis Jr ($5,100)
Jake Cronenworth ($2,500)
Manny Machado ($4,500)
Wil Myers ($3,500)
Trent Grisham ($3,100)
