Captain

Kylian Mbappe ($19,200)

Ligue 1 ended abruptly towards the end of February due to the coronavirus pandemic. That ended a fine run of goal-scoring form for Mbappe in the league. He scored 18 goals in 27 rounds when the league was halted. PSG will be pleased with his return for the closing stages of Europe’s biggest club competition because he provided that level of offensive output on a consistent basis.

Others to consider: Neymar ($18,600)

High-priced flex options

Neymar ($12,400)

In the 2019-20 Ligue 1 competition, Neymar scored 13 goals, but he also chipped in with making the right pass, using his dribbling skill to skip past defenders and playing in his colleagues. These might not reflect in fantasy value, which is why he has moved down to a flex position instead of Captain. Still, there is plenty of upside in his inclusion.

Marcel Sabitzer ($9,400)

Sabitzer is coming off a solid Bundesliga with equally reliable performances in the Champions League too. He scored nine goals and added seven assists during the recently concluded Bundesliga, providing offensive penetration down that left flank from an attacking midfielder role. He was substituted off in the second half in the quarterfinal against Atletico Madrid.

Angel Di Maria ($10,000)

Di Maria has been a pivotal offensive player for PSG. Yes, he does put himself into good positions around the box, but his real selling point is his contributory value. He had 14 assists with eight goals in the Ligue 1. His deliveries are accurate and he has the talent upfront to be able to convert that chance into a goal. He could have another assist on Tuesday.

Others to consider: Dani Olmo ($8,200)

Value flex options

Mauro Icardi ($7,600)

PSG is blessed with its offensive core. Icardi is probably the least favored to make a contribution but he has already displayed his composure in front of goal. He scored 12 goals, tied for sixth in the Ligue 1 scoring charts, in the last season. He should continue to retain the central striker role even with Mbappe’s return, strengthening a reliable offensive attack.

Christopher Nkunku ($6,600)

Nkunku has moved to a forward role in Timo Werner’s absence, which has left a massive void in the offense for Leipzig. Temporarily, Nkunku is filling that by moving to the right wing, forming one third of Leipzig’s three-man striker formation. His price has dropped significantly, which is understandable considering the opponent, but therein also lies his value.

Others to consider: Yussuf Poulsen ($6,000)
