Get ready for a busy Tuesday with 12 games making up the main slate on DraftKings. However, despite the packed schedule, there aren’t a lot of top-tier pitchers set to take the mound. That could result in several high-scoring affairs. With that in mind, here are some stacks to consider while compiling your lineups.

1. New York Yankees
The Braves will be faced with the difficult task of trying to slow down the Yankees’ lineup at Yankee Stadium. They will start Touki Toussaint ($8,100), who pitched well in his last start, allowing three runs and recording nine strikeouts across 6.2 innings against the Blue Jays. However, it should be noted that the Blue Jays’ lineup has struggled, averaging only three runs per game. Toussaint largely did not pitch well out of the bullpen last season, posting a 5.62 ERA and a 4.99 FIP.
The Yankees may have lost Giancarlo Stanton (hamstring), but their lineup is still loaded. They have averaged 4.9 runs per game for the season, which they have mostly played on the road. Across their five games at home, they have averaged 6.4 runs per contest. This could be an uphill battle for Toussaint.

2. Los Angeles Angels
The Angels won an offensive slugfest against the Athletics on Monday by a score of 10-9. After getting swept in a three-game series on the road against the Rangers, pulling off the win at home against the A’s was much needed. They’ll look to build on that victory Tuesday when they face Mike Fiers ($8,300), who they scored four runs against over four innings earlier this season.
Fiers has generally struggled to keep hitters inside the ballpark, allowing at least 1.5 HR/9 in each of the last three seasons. The fact that this start is on the road is noteworthy considering he had a 5.33 FIP and a 1.36 WHIP on the road in 2019. He also doesn’t miss many bats given his career 20.8% strikeout rate. Don’t be surprised if the Angels hang another crooked number in this contest.

3. Washington Nationals
The Nationals destroyed the Mets on Monday, scoring 16 runs along the way. They roughed up Steven Matz for eight runs across 4.1 innings and Paul Sewald only recorded two outs while allowing six runs. It was a much-needed offensive outburst considering the Nationals had scored six total runs across their previous three games.
It might be difficult for the Mets to hold down the Nationals again with Rick Porcello ($6,700) on the mound. Yes, he just faced the Nationals in his last start and held them to one run across seven innings. However, he entered that outing having allowed 11 runs (nine earned) across his first two starts. That came on the heels of a disastrous 2019 campaign in which he recorded a 5.52 ERA and allowed 1.6 HR/9. He might not be able to have the same level of success against Washington in the rematch.

4. Arizona Diamondbacks
The Diamondbacks’ record sits at 7-10 and a lot of that can be attributed to their lack of offense. They have only hit 12 home runs, which is tied for the second-lowest mark in the league. The only team that has hit fewer is the Cardinals, who have been sidelined for over a week. Arizona’s .300 OBP is also the fifth-worst mark in the league.
With all of these horrible stats in mind, why exactly should we stack them Tuesday? In short, Coors Field can bring to life even the most anemic of offenses. It did just that Monday with the Diamondbacks scoring 12 runs on their way to a win. They will face Kyle Freeland ($7,000) in the second game of the series, who has a career 4.66 FIP and 1.39 WHIP at home.

5. Detroit Tigers
In a shortened season with expanded playoffs, we could have a few surprise teams make a run. One such squad in the early going has been the Tigers, who are 9-5 and only half a game behind the Twins in the AL Central. They added some veterans to their lineup during the offseason, which has enabled them to average 5.2 runs per contest. A 17-run performance against the Pirates has certainly helped bolster their numbers, but they have scored at least five runs in eight of their 14 contests.
Some big news to monitor is the status of C.J. Cron ($3,600), who left Monday with a knee injury. He’s provided power in the middle of their lineup, slugging four home runs out of the gate. Even if he does sit this one out, the Tigers still carry significant upside against Gio Gonzalez ($7,700), who has been roughed up for 11 runs (10 earned) across 11.2 innings in his first three starts. Just as concerning as the run total is that he’s allowed 27 base runners during that stretch.
