This weekend, after what feels like an eternity, Call of Duty is back in the action on DraftKings with the New York Home Series. With Champs only a month away, let’s get into Friday’s slate, which locks at 4:00 p.m. ET.

Captain

GodRX ($12,300)

With the current state of the Gentleman’s Agreement (GA’s) in Call of Duty League, we head into this week looking to potentially stack AR and FLEX players. GodRX has been consistent, holding down long range gun fights this season with ease and toting the highest KD ratio on the Minnesota Rokkr. While he’s been great in Search and Destroy, his respawn game has shown to be his strength this season winning over 60% of his Hardpoint engagements.

Value Captain

MajorManiak ($11,100)

Here in the value slot, we have another reliable AR player. Maniak is one of those players that has consistently proven his worth. While he’s not flashy like some other AR mains in the league, he has a positive KD ratio and definitely adds depth to any roster he’s on.

Other to consider: Blazt ($11,100)

Flex

MackMelts ($9,200)

MackMelts is the only MP5 player we are looking at for this slate since he’s still tearing up the pro scene. With the announcement of Champs being online, Mack’s been confident, seeing that he has yet to make a LAN appearance. Additionally, with the recent GA’s, MP5 players on other teams have been practicing the last 2 weeks with alternative weapons, whereas Mack has stayed with the MP5. For that reason, I think MackMelts will be frying this CDL event.

Value Flex

Arcitys ($7,800)

Due to recent potential meta changes, Arcitys is back on the M4 with FormaL for the Huntsmen. This is his main weapon even though he is a Flex; he performs much better with an AR. This is where he started the season, and now it is looking like he’s back in his original form, ready to slay this weekend.

Other to consider: Wuskin ($7,200)

Team

Atlanta FaZe ($3,000)

Atlanta FaZe will continue to be the team to beat this week, seeing as their road to the Grand Finals is much easier than in the last few events. With only one other top three ranked team, it looks like this event can swing in Atlanta’s favor, giving them more points and a stronger lead on first place in the league.

Value Team

New York Subliners ($1,600)

While their road to the finals is much harder, it’s their Home Series and New York has surprised this season. It’ll all come down to their Search and Destroy game, as that’s been the teams weakest part of their game. If they come out firing on all cylinders, this NYSL team could turn some heads.

Other to consider: Chicago Huntsmen ($2,400)
