Captain
Doublelift ($11,700)
After a stuttering start to the split, Doublelift has now picked himself up. He now has 4.25 kills per game along with 3.33 assists. He even has a creep score of 341. These are stellar numbers for one of the best players in the LCS. Even though Cloud9 will be a dominant force on Saturday, the price-return relationship is in Doublelift’s favor.
Others to consider: Zven ($12,300)
Top
Solo ($6,200)
FlyQuest has been very impressive this season, as was expected from a team of that quality. Solo has done an admirable job in the top lane. Even though he has been killed close to 3 times per map, his offensive metrics are quite strong. I expect FlyQuest to win this game against Golden Guardians, which should benefit Solo if that pans out.
Others to consider: Ssumday ($6,400)
Jungler
Wiggily ($6,600)
After a massively disappointing spring split, Counter Logic Gaming has got its act together this season. Wiggily has helped his colleagues immensely with strong flanking plays, entering fights to convert even engagements into advantageous situations. He has generated 7.33 assists per game. He would want to improve on his own kill rate but his performances are still steady.
Others to consider: Closer ($6,200)
Mid
Nisqy ($8,000)
Cloud9 has lost two games in the LCS in quick succession. That will leave Nisqy and the rest of Cloud9 desperate to resume normalcy. He has a KDA of 9 in summer even though he has just 2.75 kills because of really good returns almost everywhere else (1.25 deaths and 8.5 assists per game).
Others to consider: Bjergsen ($7,600)
ADC
Zven ($8,200)
These are Zven’s summer averages: 4 kills, 1 death and 5.42 assists per map with a KDA of 9.42 and a creep score of 286. And Zven hasn’t even hit his absolute best. He has averaged 27.6 DKFP per game, highest among all bot laners on this slate. As the playoffs move closer, you will see a highly-functioning Zven.
Others to consider: Cody Sun ($7,400)
Support
Smoothie ($4,800)
If possible, save some of your budget here. Smoothie is not too expensive and still provides a decent return on investment. He has 7.5 assists and 2.42 deaths per game. These aren’t bad numbers, by any means, for a support player.
Team
Team SoloMid ($5,600)
The money that was saved in support can be spent here. For starters, Dignitas was atrocious in the previous game, on Sunday. There was no fight, giving up three dragons without engagement. When there was a fight, Dignitas was steamrolled. If that didn’t work against Counter Logic Gaming, it definitely won’t work against the might of TSM.
