Four mismatches await from the LPL and the LCK in Thursday’s League of Legends action. That means roster construction gets harder with so many good options to choose from. We take a look at some of those choices for your roster from DraftKings’ Thursday slate.

Captain

JackeyLove ($12,000)

JackeyLove is a strategic pick for Captain for this slate. With JD Gaming’s Loken ($12,300) also available, you will need to pick an AD Carry as your Captain in order to be able to draft them both, and JackeyLove is no slouch. He has 5.24 kills per game in summer along with over 6.0 assists as well. He even has a creep score of close to 300 (294).

Others to consider: Knight ($12,300)

Top

Doran ($6,200)

There are mismatches all over the place on this slate. Doran’s price is the most inexpensive in this category among the teams expected to win. He has a K/D ratio of below 1.0, which isn’t ideal, but it isn’t nearly bad. He has 2.56 kills and 5.08 assists, which means his offensive metrics are solid.

Others to consider: Rascal ($6,400)

Jungler

Pyosik ($7,000)

Pyosik’s kill participation is four-hundredths of a decimal point below 10 in summer. He has 3.04 kills and 6.92 assists in 25 games. His team has won 19 of 25 maps in summer. He has played a massive part in that, with itemization, farming and flanking. Overall, he has a very steady KDA of 4.7.

Others to consider: Karsa ($7,200)

Mid

Knight ($8,200)

Whenever possible, as a rule of thumb, always try to draft the mid and bot laner from Top Esports. Even with a combined expensive price, it’s highly unlikely Top Esports will mess up. Knight has enjoyed a stunning summer split so far, with 6.35 kills (comfortably the highest in both leagues) with 7.48 assists. He has a KDA of 8.37 on account of a low death rate too. He is also the only player on this slate to average more than 100 DKFP per game.

Others to consider: Yagao ($7,800)

ADC

Loken ($8,200)

Such expensive choices will definitely push your roster’s budget back a lot. However, with four skewed matchups on Thursday, you will have to pick and choose the aggressive options you want in your slate. Loken would be one for me. In 27 games in summer, he has 4.52 kills and 6.52 assists per game along with 1.74 deaths, giving him a KDA of 1.74.

Others to consider: Ruler ($7,600)

Support

Tusin ($4,600)

There aren’t too many factors to justify this selection other than price. You will need to sacrifice at least one category on this slate. For me, that would be support. Tusin has 6.06 assists per game, which isn’t flashy by any means. Still, it isn’t bad for this price.

Team

DragonX ($5,200)

With nine wins in 10 series, DragonX is currently leading the LCK standings. The team is on a three-series winning streak and has also won 19 of 25 maps in summer to date. From a statistical perspective, that’s compelling enough. There is also confidence and momentum to add as factors.
