Forwards
Studs
Gabriel Jesus ($9,300)
Jesus has been asked to step up in a solitary striker position for Manchester City after an injury to Sergio Aguero and he has done so to good effect. He has scored 12 goals and added 7 assists in the EPL this season. He has been extremely efficient around the six-yard box, converting fizzing deliveries from either flank into well-placed goals at either bottom corner.
Others to consider: Raul Jimenez ($7,900).
Values
Harry Kane ($8,500)
Kane has been a bit quiet in the past few games. He has seemed a bit fatigued, plausibly because manager Jose Mourinho trusts him to play the entire duration of most games. However, underestimating a player of his skill level would be a mistake. He has still scored 13 goals this season and would want to end his goal-scoring drought ASAP.
Midfielders
Studs
Kevin De Bruyne ($11,000)
De Bruyne may be given some time on the bench against Bournemouth considering the upcoming FA Cup semifinal. However, if he does indeed start there is no better midfielder for your roster than De Bruyne. He has been one of the best players this season, racking up 11 goals as well as 18 assists, highest in the Premier League. Thus, it’s hardly surprising that he is the most expensive player on this slate. He is also the only player on this slate that has averaged over 20 DKFP per game (21.9).
Values
Adama Traore ($7,700)
Traore has been in beast mode on the right wing for Wolves. Considering his body structure and incredible pace (similar to Zion Williamson in the NBA, if you haven’t seen Traore), he has been well managed by Wolves, often starting on the bench and brought on in the second half to provide some impetus. That was the case in the previous game. He might get the start in this game, and if he does he should contribute offensively.
Others to consider: Raheem Sterling ($10,100), Riyad Mahrez ($9,000).
Defenders
Studs
Matt Doherty ($4,800)
Wolves returned to normalcy by beating Everton, 3-0, in a convincing victory on Sunday. That was preceded by a period of sub-par returns, including losses to Arsenal and Sheffield United. Doherty has been a vital part of that defense. Interestingly, he has also been a crucial part of the offense, running down the right flank to chip in with goals or assists.
Values
Kyle Walker ($4,500)
Walker was also brought on in the second half against Brighton with the game won by halftime. Manager Pep Guardiola will want to rotate his starters with the FA Cup coming. Since Walker is a bit fresher, he might be asked to start against Bournemouth. Manchester City is unlikely to concede against Bournemouth.
Goalkeepers
Ederson ($5,900)
I can’t remember Ederson’s last save — that’s how dominant Manchester City has been in the past few games. Three of the past four games have been wins by three or more goals without conceding, including back-to-back 5-0 wins against Newcastle and Brighton. It could be very similar against a Bournemouth team that has conceded its fair share of goals this season.
Others to consider: Rui Patricio ($5,300).
