Studs
Calvin Kattar, $9,100—Kattar is a technically proficient striker with outstanding boxing and plenty of power to back it up. He fires off crisp combos and a stiff jab from the first round to the last with very little degradation, thanks to bountiful reserves of stamina. Kattar is durable, often absorbing as much punishment as he doles out—something he hopefully gets a better handle on in future contests, but for now, he seems none the worse for wear. Enjoying a clear size and power advantage also means that Ige will have a harder time getting this fight to the ground where he is quite adept. All told, Kattar is the more experienced fighter and has the physicality to make this a very hard night for Dan Ige.
Molly McCann, $8,200—“Meatball” Molly is a scrappy fighter that’s looked better and better with each fight. After a disappointing debut against Gillian Robertson in 2018, McCann has racked up three-straight unanimous decision victories. Many point to Taila Santos having a size advantage, which could translate into the ability to bully Molly around the octagon, but McCann has almost always been the smaller athlete in past outings, and Taila will only have one inch on her in that regard. By comparison, Molly’s last fight was a dominant win over Diana Belbita, who is 5’7”, and McCann mowed her down in all three rounds with volume striking in the pocket (scorecards were 30-26 across the board). “Meatball” is a quick starter, launching overhands and uppercuts fluidly and walking down whatever might be thrown at her in the process. She has all the tools to get the W in what will likely turn out to be a very entertaining battle.
Ricardo Ramos, $8,800—Ramos has looked sensational inside the octagon, slipping just once against Said Nurmagomedov at bantamweight. He has notable wins over Kyung Ho Kang, Aiemann Zahabi and Journey Newson and sports ten finishes (seven by submission). At 145 pounds, he had a sensational debut with a submission over Luiz Garagorri, winning a performance bonus in the process. Ramos is a very good grappler with a top-notch submission game. Against Murphy, who by all counts is a gifted athlete but suffers from porous takedown defense and a tiny gas tank, he should be able to get this fight where he wants it with relative ease, thus enabling another possible finish to add to his repertoire.

Values
Cody Stamann, $7,800—Stamann is coming off a dominant performance over Brian Kelleher last month that saw him take a unanimous decision (30-27 across all the scorecards), setting up a quick turnaround bout with heavy hitter Jimmie Rivera. Cody will enjoy a distinct size advantage over the 5’4” Rivera, a factor that he will no doubt use efficiently. Stamann is more than capable on the feet with measured, technical striking, but the real jewel in his skillset is his wrestling, where he impresses judging with takedowns and activity via ground-and-pound. Jimmie Rivera won’t be an easy out by any means, but Cody certainly has an excellent chance at upsetting the favorite. Note: this fight will be at the featherweight limit of 145 pounds.
Chris Fishgold, $7,900—Fishgold is a submission specialist with a penchant for chokes (13 submissions, 12 of them chokes). He’s an explosive fighter with excellent takedowns, superb scrambling ability and decent fight IQ. Jared Gordon has endless cardio and volume punching, which could present a problem in this well-matched bout, but the X-Factor is that this contest will be fought at 145 pounds, a weight that Gordon has historically had trouble with. “Flash” has also incurred vicious knockouts in his last three losses, and one must ask themselves just how much chin reserve is left. Fishgold has lost two of his three UFC bouts, but they were to Makwan Amirkhani and Calvin Kattar, a definitive step up from the competition that Gordon has lost to, with the exception of Charles Oliveira. This is a coin-flip fight, but Fishgold has an excellent chance to add another L to Jared’s record.
