Bruno Fernandes ($17,400)

Fernandes’ numbers in the Premier League, particularly since the restart, have been off the charts. Let’s just take a look at his fantasy returns. In his past three games in the EPL, he has racked up 25.8, 40.1 and 33.4 DKFP. There hasn’t been one game where he has managed under 10 DKFP this season. He is the new playmaker for Manchester United.

Others to consider: Marcus Rashford ($15,000)

High-priced flex options

Marcus Rashford ($10,000)

Rashford has had to accept a slightly new role on this United squad. He has been moved to the left wing, feeding crosses into the box. He has also scored 15 goals on the EPL season, tied with Anthony Martial. Along with that, he has chipped in with six assists, primarily in this new formation.

Anthony Martial ($10,400)

Martial didn’t look too pleased when he was taken off in the previous game against Aston Villa. He could have easily added to his season tally of 15 goals and taken the lead in his battle against Rashford for most goals for United this season. He has been spectacular since the Premier League’s resumption, working beautifully in tandem with the new attacking core.

Mason Greenwood ($9,800)

After the previous game, Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said, “It’s hard to leave players out when they are scoring goals,” with reference to Greenwood having more playing time. Greenwood has certainly been scoring goals. Home, away, right foot, left foot, inside or outside the box, it has hardly mattered. He scored a spectacular goal against Aston Villa in the previous game just before halftime. He should be given another start against Southampton.

Others to consider: James Ward-Prowse ($8,400).

Value flex options

Danny Ings ($7,800)

Ings is tied for third with Mohamed Salah on the EPL goal-scoring charts with 19 goals. He is a valuable contributor to a team that “runs the most in the Premier League,” according to Solskjaer. At Old Trafford against a team in red-hot form, Ings will need to step up to help Southampton pick up a point.

Paul Pogba ($6,400)

Pogba starts off in a defensive midfield style but doesn’t hesitate to move in the box when he has the opportunity. He received a corner from Fernandes outside the box and unfurled a razing goal to Pepe Reina’s left against Aston Villa. Former United manager Jose Mourinho described Pogba aptly when he said it’s not always the final goal or the assist but the penetrative pass where he adds value.

Others to consider: Aaron Wan-Bissaka ($6,000).
