Fantasy Esports Picks: League of Legends (LCS) Top DraftKings LOL DFS Targets for July 11

The fixture of the LCS is here as Cloud9 face Team SoloMid on Saturday. Along with that game, three other matchups constitute DraftKings’ LCS slate from the middle day of this game week. Here is a primer of players to consider for your League of Legends roster.

Captain

Zven ($12,000)

Very rarely in the LCS will you get Zven for a price of $12,000. Only Team SoloMid as the opposition has been able to do that. Zven has a KDA of 13.5, mainly because of a low death rate (0.75 per game). He even has a kill participation rate of over 10 with 4.13 kills per map. He even has the highest creep score on Cloud9 (299).

Top

Impact ($6,200)

Counter Logic Gaming is clearly a much better team in summer than spring. However, Liquid has also improved considerably. Impact has 2.25 kills and 3.75 assists per game along with 2.88 deaths. These numbers don’t exude too much confidence. Still, he is better than these stats suggest. Expect a better performance on Saturday.

Jungler

Svenskeren ($6,800)

Evil Geniuses has lost three of eight games this summer after a strong start to the split. Svenskeren hasn’t contributed much to that, averaging just 1.13 kills and 4.38 assists per game. He has the lowest KDA on his team (1.91). It’s about time he starts to find some of his fluency back and doing so against Golden Guardians on Saturday would be a good place to start.

Others to consider: Broxah ($7,000)

Mid

Nisqy ($8,000)

In the whole summer season of the LCS so far, Nisqy has been killed just eight times. That’s quite staggering. He has 2.75 kills and 9.75 assists per game with a creep score per minute of 8.14. It might not help much, but Cloud9’s NA Academy team cruised past TSM’s Academy team on Friday in a performance similar to the main franchise. These subtle factors might just play a small part in building a team’s momentum, although it’s not like Cloud9 needs it.

Others to consider: PowerOfEvil ($8,400)

ADC

Bang ($7,600)

Bang hasn’t done much either for Evil Geniuses in summer, but I’d roster him because there is still plenty of talent. And his returns have been disproportionate to that level of skill. He’s due a significantly better performance than his split KDA averages of 1.63 kills, 1.13 deaths and 3 assists per map. He should surpass his fantasy average of 15.9 DKFP in this fixture.

Others to consider: Tactical ($7,400)

Support

CoreJJ ($5,000)

To be able to draft the support player from a team as good as Liquid for this price is a serious flex. CoreJJ has managed a little over 60 assists in this summer split at an average of 763 per map. Liquid has won six of eight games, too. This confidence should help CoreJJ as well.

Team

Evil Geniuses ($5,000)

Evil Geniuses is one of the best teams in the LCS. Yet, the team has managed to lose three games this split. Counter Logic Gaming is no pushover, but in terms of the major factors – skill, depth of personnel and confidence – Evil Geniuses is better off. Also, this price for one of the best teams in LCS seems too good to pass up.
