Manchester United will look to keep its unbeaten streak in the Premier League alive on Tuesday against Wolves. We break down the options to consider for Captain as well as the flex positions of your DraftKings roster.

Set your DraftKings lineup here: EPL Showdown $35K Counter Attack [$10K to 1st] (MU vs WOL)

Bruno Fernandes ($18,600)

From a fantasy standpoint, there are three areas that are of paramount importance in soccer: Goals, assists and shots taken. That is because more shots yield more goals. It’s also indicative of where the ball moves in an offensive phase. Fernandes is leading Manchester United in all three metrics, with 10 goals, 6 assists and 43 shots. It’s not surprising he is averaging 23.5 DKFP per game.

Others to consider: Pedro Neto ($15,000)

High-priced flex options

Pedro Neto ($10,000)

Neto has had to step up in the discernible absence of Raul Jimenez ($8,600) this season. Credit to him for not making such an important exclusion not feel that crucial. Like Fernandes, he is also leading his club in the three key metrics of analysis for fantasy soccer with four goals, three assists and 28 shots taken. He made an assist in the previous game.

Anthony Martial ($8,000)

With Marcus Rashford ($9,600) questionable for this game, manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer might choose to rest him in the midst of a busy festive period. That should mean Martial keeps his place in the starting XI with offensive options required in the final third. Even though he has just three assists this season, he could easily add to his offensive contributions against a depleted Wolves.

Daniel Podence ($7,600)

Replacing Jimenez is not an enviable task. Podence has performed quite admirably in his position this season. He has chipped in with three goals and two assists. He has even taken 25 shots so far. With Manchester United known to prefer the counter-attack, Wolves could be handy in a traditional offensive phase. That would give Podence some more space around the six-yard box if Manchester United hold a high line.

Others to consider: Adama Traore ($8,400)

Value flex options

David de Gea ($7,000)

Manchester United has scored 30 goals this season. Wolves has scored 15, exactly half. That’s the fairest indicator of the difference in pace of play between these two teams. Wolves just doesn’t score many goals. It’s not due to a lack of offense, but just the team’s preferred modus operandi. That could also mean de Gea isn’t troubled as much in open play.

Mason Greenwood ($6,600)

Greenwood hasn’t been given too many opportunities this season. When he has, he hasn’t let his team down. One of his most valuable assets is his ability to fit in almost anywhere for Manchester United because both his feet are almost equally powerful. He might have to occupy Rashford’s position in this contest. He will be keen to impress to stake a claim for a more regular spot in United’s starting XI.

Others to consider: Scott McTominay ($6,000)
