There are just two weeks of the 2020 NFL regular season remaining, and this is the final Sunday of the calendar year. DraftKings featured a 10-game main slate of contests, highlighted by a $1 Million top prize in this week’s $3M Fantasy Football Millionaire contest. Whether you’re in that contest, a different DFS contest or your season-long championship, it should be a great Sunday for football and you can follow along with the highlights and standout performers from the afternoon right here in this post.
You can also find coverage throughout the day on The Dream Stream where Leaderboard Live will keep you up to speed and offer analysis for all the big plays and injuries throughout Sunday.
Contest Leaderboard
With all ten games on the main slate wrapped up, it looks like ‘jwsherry’ has the winning entry with a total of 217.78 DKFP. That entry built around a very solid Texans stack in the early wave with Deshaun Watson ($7,600; 30.76), David Johnson ($6,100; 31.9 DKFP) and Brandin Cooks ($6,200; 30.1 DKFP) all producing over 30 DKFP. Michael Gallup ($4,100; 33.1 DKFP) was the key contributor to that entry in the late window. Gallup was only owned in 5.3% of entries and was the main differentiator in addition to the Chargers D/ST ($3,300; 7.0 DKFP), that was owned in just 2.2% of entries.
The only entry within five points of ‘jwsherry’ was ‘chibbard20,’ who had Ben Roethlisberger ($6,400; 28.48 DKFP) and Diontae Johnson ($6,300; 21.7 DKFP) as a Steelers stack along with Cooks and the Cowboys D/ST ($2,400; 10.0 DKFP).

Standout Performers
Late Standouts
Michael Gallup, Dallas Cowboys vs. Philadelphia Eagles, 33.1 DKFP
Dallas had a number of high-end performers in their rout of the Eagles, but Gallup ($4,100) led the way with a pair of first-half touchdowns and six catches for 121 yards. Ceedee Lamb ($5,300; 23.4 DKFP) also had two touchdowns, one rushing and one receiving to go with three catches for 65 yards. Amari Cooper ($5,700; 19.1 DKFP) also had a big game with 121 yards on his four catches, although he didn’t get a touchdown. Since all those WRs went off, it isn’t surprising that Andy Dalton ($5,500; 30.58 DKFP) went off with the top QB total of the late wave, finishing with three touchdowns and 377 passing yards.
Panthers D/ST, Carolina Panthers at Washington Football Team, 21.0 DKFP
In their surprise win over the Washington Football Team, Carolina’s defense had the best game of any D/ST of the week. The Panthers’ defense had a defensive touchdown and only allowed 13 points while picking up three sacks, two interceptions and two fumble recoveries. They were a great value under $3K and helped their team get a big road win to keep Washington from securing the division.
Curtis Samuel, Carolina Panthers at Washington Football Team, 23.8 DKFP
Samuel has grown into a dual-threat for the Panthers, who have been finding creative ways to get the ball into his hands. He hauled in all five of his targets for 106 yards and added 52 yards on seven carries, as well. Even though he didn’t get into the end zone in this contest, he was still a top five WR on this slate. He and the Panthers will look to finish their season with a win next week against the Saints, who are still playing for playoff seeding.
Early Standouts
David Johnson, Houston Texans vs. Cincinnati Bengals, 31.9 DKFP
Johnson was the top scorer at any position in the early window, as he and the Texans took on the Bengals. Johnson only had 12 carries but still churned out 128 yards and a touchdown on the ground and added a second touchdown on one of his three catches for 11 yards. With Duke Johnson sidelined, David Johnson was again the workhorse for Houston and is showing he still has some fuel in the tank going forward for whoever takes over the Texans. Next week, he’ll look to help the team finish with a divisional win against the Tennessee Titans.
Semaje Perine, Cincinnati Bengals at Houston Texans, 29.6 DKFP
On the other side of that matchup, Perine was an amazing value at just $4,000 and ran for a pair of touchdowns while piling up 95 yards on 13 carries. He added four catches for 41 yards as well in a very productive platoon with Giovani Bernard ($4,800; 20.1 DKFP), who filled in very nicely for Joe Mixon (foot), who is still on IR.
Ben Roethlisberger, Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Indianapolis Colts, 28.48 DKFP
It was a dismal start for the Steelers, who dug a 21-7 hole at halftime and then were unable to score early in the third quarter despite a first-and-goal from the 1-yard line early in the third quarter. From that point, though, Big Ben caught fire and threw three touchdown passes to fuel the Steelers’ big-time comeback. He finished with 342 yards passing and those three scores to help the Steelers secure the AFC North division title.
Fantasy Football Highlights
4 p.m. ET games — Second Half
The Washington Football Team faced an uphill battle, trailing 20-3 to the Carolina Panthers at halftime. Even though they tried Taylor Heinicke ($4,000; 11.68 DKFP) at QB late in the game, Washington wasn’t able to come back, although they did close to within one score on the touchdown below to J.D. McKissic ($6,400; 23.2 DKFP).

Denver was also behind big at halftime, but rallied to tie the game at 16. The Chargers hit a late FG to take the lead, 19-16. In a game that had all the weirdness we have come to expect from the Chargers and Broncos, Drew Lock ($5,000; 16.6) ended up heaving up a hail mary as time expired and Chargers’ WR Mike Williams ($4,500; 9.4 DKFP) sealed the game with an interception.

In Dallas, CeeDee Lamb ($5,300; 23.4 DKFP) caught a 52-yard touchdown from Andy Dalton ($5,500; 30.58 DKFP) as the Cowboys opened up a 30-17 lead in the third quarter. In the fourth quarter, Lamb ran for his second touchdown of the game and put the game away 37-17. If Dallas beats the Giants next week and gets help from the Eagles against Washington, they still have a chance for the playoffs.

The first touchdown in the Rams-Seahawks game came in the third quarter, when Russell Wilson ($7,300; 19.9 DKFP) kept it for a four-yard rushing score to put Seattle up, 13-6. With just under three minutes left in the game, Wilson threw this nice touchdown pass to Jacob Hollister ($2,900; 9.7 DKFP) to ice the game and get the Seahawks the big divisional win that secured them the NFC West division title.

In the late games, Washington needed a win to clinch the NFC East, but they struggled early against the Panthers, falling behind 20-0 on the muffed punt in the highlight below, a touchdown from Mike Davis ($6,500) and a touchdown catch from Robby Anderson ($5,500). Washington did kick a field goal just before halftime but still trailed 20-3 at the break.

1 p.m. ET games — Second Half
After losing their first 13 games of the season, the Jets won their second game in a row by beating the short-handed Browns, 23-16. After throwing for a score in the first half, Jamison Crowder ($4,500; 29.32 DKFP) had a touchdown reception as the Jets built a 20-3 lead. Nick Chubb ($7,800; 17.6 DKFP) and Kareem Hunt ($5,900; 14.2 DKFP) had a touchdown for the Browns, but the Jets held on and played just enough defense to hold on for a 23-16 victory.

Early in the third quarter, the Bengals went back on top over the Texans on a 46-yard touchdown run by Semaje Perine ($4,000; 29.6 DKFP), but David Johnson ($6,100; 31.9 DKFP) had an impressive drive out of the Texans’ backfield and capped it with a 4-yard touchdown run to tie the game back up at 17-17. The Bengals answered back, though, with a touchdown strike from Brandon Allen ($4,800; 26.14 DKFP) to Tee Higgins ($4,700; 21.9 DKFP). Johnson added a receiving touchdown in the third quarter to tie the game once again, and the Texans took the lead on a touchdown pass from Deshaun Watson ($7,600; 30.76 DKFP) to Darren Fells ($2,500; 9.2 DKFP) after another Bengals’ field goal, 31-27. The back-and-forth scoring continued with another touchdown from Perine, who gave the Bengals a three-point lead with 2:00 left. Watson had another late fumble, and the Bengals held on for the 37-31 win.

The Bears built on their 13-10 halftime lead with a rushing score from Mitchell Trubisky ($5,700; 24.6 DKFP) in the third quarter, and David Montgomery ($7,700; 20.1 DKFP) tacked on a rushing score as well to increase the lead to 27-10. Trubisky and the Bears continued to pour it on with another touchdown at the end of the third quarter, as Jimmy Graham ($3,100; 22.9 DKFP) had his second score of the day in the highlight below. Artavis Pierce ($4,000; 8.6 DKFP) even got into the action with a 3-yard touchdown run to put Chicago up 41-10. Late in the fourth quarter, Mike Glennon ($4,800; 14.44 DKFP) hit Laviska Shenault Jr. ($3,700; 15.8 DKFP) for a 34-yard touchdown to boost their totals but not impact the outcome of the game.

Early in the second half, the Chiefs kicked a field goal in Atlanta to go up 10-7 on the Falcons, but Matt Ryan ($5,800; 22.9 DKFP) hit Laquon Treadwell ($3,000; 9.1 DKFP) to put the Falcons back on top 14-10 with under five minutes in the fourth quarter. That was too much time to leave Patrick Mahomes ($8,500; 20.22 DKFP), though, who hit Demarcus Robinson ($3,900; 10.9 DKFP) for a touchdown at the two-minute warning to put the Chiefs back ahead. The Falcons drove into position for the game-tying FG, but they missed the kick to pull off another heartbreaking loss. That also means that the Chiefs held on to clinch the top seed in the AFC.

The Steelers offense continued to struggle early in the second half against the Colts, but then Ben Roethlisberger ($6,400; 28.48 DKFP) turned things around in a hurry. He hit Diontae Johnson ($6,300; 21.7 DKFP) with the long touchdown pass below to cut the Colts’ lead to 24-14. At the start of the fourth quarter, Big Ben had another touchdown toss to Eric Ebron ($4,200; 15.7 DKFP) to pull Pittsburgh to within three points and then threw another dime to JuJu Smith-Schuster ($6,200; 24.6 DKFP) to give the Steelers the lead. After trailing 21-7 at halftime, the Steelers rallied for the 28-24 victory.

1 p.m. ET games — First Half
The first touchdown of the day came from the Cincinnati Bengals, who had a great chance to be value producers against the Houston Texans. Brandon Allen ($4,800) hit Drew Sample ($2,900) to put the Bengals up 7-0. The teams traded field goals, but then Deshaun Watson ($7,600) hit Brandin Cooks ($6,200) to tie the game up at 10-10 just before halftime.
Last Monday night, the Bengals shocked their division-rival Pittsburgh Steelers, who were trying to snap their three-game losing skid as they hosted the Indianapolis Colts. Indy got on the board first, though, with a six-yard touchdown from Jonathan Taylor ($7,300), but the Steelers turned a forced fumble by T.J. Watt into a game-tying touchdown from James Conner ($5,800). Taylor answered with his second score of the half, though, as the Colts went back up, 14-7. While the Steelers’ offense continued to stall out, Zach Pascal ($3,800) caught the touchdown in the highlight below to put the Colts up 21-7.

Later in the first half, the Jets added another score on a more traditional passing play from Sam Darnold ($5,000) to Chris Herndon ($2,500) to go up 13-3 after a missed extra point.

Matt Ryan ($5,800) hit Hayden Hurst ($3,400) for a five-yard touchdown. The Chiefs answered back with a touchdown by their tight end, as Travis Kelce ($8,500) grabbed a four-yard score just before halftime to tie the game, 7-7.
