Week 15 of the NFL regular season not only brought another chance to win a million dollars from DraftKings in this week’s $3M Fantasy Football Millionaire contest, but it also was the $12.5M Fantasy Football World Championship Final with a $2.5 million top prize to the winner. We’ll track both of those contests throughout the day and keep you up to date on the leading entries along with the highlights from around the NFL.
You can also find coverage throughout the day on The Dream Stream where Leaderboard Live will keep you up to speed and offer analysis for all the big plays and injuries throughout Sunday.
Contest Leaderboard
After leading through much of the late game, the top entries from ‘ksc333’ ended up sliding out of the top 10 in the Milly Maker. The winning lineup was from ‘jhudson1,’ who won by a significant eight-DKFP margin with 237.32 DKFP. Jalen Hurts ($5,900; 40.82 DKFP) was the QB of the winning squad as a great value play. The lowest owned player in the winning lineup was actually Darnell Mooney ($3,900; 16.5 DKFP), who was also a good value with a touchdown and over 15.0 DKFP. Logan Thomas ($4,000; 26.1 DKFP) was another key value play at just $4K with a big game against the Seahawks’ D/ST ($3,100; 9.0 DKFP), which was also in the winning lineup.
An entry from ‘rockstar3310’ finished second with Tony Pollard ($5,200; 31.2 DKFP) and David Johnson ($5,100; 27.3 DKFP) as a great RB tandem, but they fell short with the Washington Football Team D/ST ($2,600; 3.0 DKFP), who struggled against the Seahawks. The top four lineups all had Hurts as their QB, while an entry from ‘MicahJ’ finished fifth with Matt Ryan ($5,400; 30.84 DKFP) at the helm.

In the FFWC, ‘theWhilstlesGoWoo’ ended up with a pair of entries in the top 10, including the winning entry that finished with 208.24 DKFP. Kyler Murray ($7,000; 38.14 DKFP) and DeAndre Hopkins ($7,900; 34.0 DKFP) were a great stack in that winning lineup, while the Cowboys D/ST ($2,700; 15.0 DKFP) stepped up at only 1.5% ownership. Calvin Ridley ($8,200; 35.3 DKFP) and Tony Pollard ($5,200; 31.2 DKFP) were also key contributors to that top entry, that beat ‘BrandonAdams’ for the top spot by 3.6 DKFP. That entry from ‘BrandonAdams’ was the only non-winning entry that reached over 200.0 DKFP in the 200-entry contest.

Standout Performers
Late Standouts
Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia Eagles at Arizona Cardinals, 40.82 DKFP
Hurts and the Eagles couldn’t quite get the win in Arizona, but it was still a wildly impressive start for the rookie QB, who was the highest-scoring QB of the week. Hurts ran for 63 yards and a touchdown and threw for 338 yards and three more scores. He and the Eagles had two heaves to the end zone that could have tied the game, but ultimately they came up just short on the road.
DeAndre Hopkins, Arizona Cardinals vs. Philadelphia Eagles, 34.0 DKFP
Hopkins caught the game-winning score against the Eagles on a great catch at the goal line. He finished with 169 yards and a touchdown by hauling in 9-of-11 targets. Hopkins has at least eight catches and double-digit targets in three-straight contests. Hopkins and the Cardinals are still in the playoff hunt and finish the season with divisional games against the 49ers and the Rams.
Early Standouts
Ryan Tannehill, Tennessee Titans vs. Detroit Lions, 37.02 DKFP
The Titans cruised past the Lions as many expected, but it wasn’t Derrick Henry ($9,500) who went off with a huge game. Henry did have 147 yards, but it was Tannehill who had the touchdowns with two scores and 21 yards rushing along with three passing touchdowns and 273 more yards. Tannehill was the most productive player in the early wave of games and was owned in under 10% of entries in most GPPs.
Calvin Ridley, Atlanta Falcons vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 35.3 DKFP
Ridley and the Falcons couldn’t quite hold on for the win in their divisional matchup, but the Falcons’ WR continued to thrive while Julio Jones is laid up with an injury. Ridley caught 10 of his 14 targets for 163 yards and a touchdown against Tampa Bay. He’ll face the Bucs again in Week 17 after a matchup with the Chiefs next week.
Tony Pollard, Dallas Cowboys vs. San Francisco 49ers, 31.2 DKFP
In a surprising move, the Cowboys listed Ezekiel Elliott (calf) as inactive this week, opening the door for Pollard to go off against the 49ers. He had a pair of rushing scores including a long run late in the game, but he boosted his fantasy production with six catches for 63 yards as a receiver out of the backfield as well. Pollard has a good schedule in the coming weeks against the Eagles and Giants, so he’ll be a great play if Zeke stays sidelined.
Fantasy Football Highlights
4 p.m. ET games — Second Half
The Chiefs took the lead early in the second quarter against the Saints on the beautiful touchdown throw and catch in the highlight below from Patrick Mahomes ($7,900; 26.84 DKFP) to Mecole Hardman ($3,400; 10.7 DKFP). After a Le’Veon Bell ($4,200; 14.6 DKFP) touchdown, Alvin Kamara ($7,400; 18.4 DKFP) caught a 14-yard touchdown from Drew Brees ($5,900; 20.36 DKFP) to pull the Saints back to within a score. After a Chiefs’ FG, Brees hit Lil’Jordan Humphrey for the final score of the game.

The Jets held on to beat the Rams, 23-20, but they may have lost the No. 1 overall pick and a chance at taking Trevor Lawrence since they’re now tied with the Jaguars at the bottom of the standings. The Rams also lost significant playoff positioning with the loss, so it was far from a meaningless game for them. With the conversion in the highlight below, Sam Darnold ($4,800; 12.6 DKFP) may have literally saved his job for another year. Ty Johnson ($4,200; 17.5 DKFP) led the way with almost 20 DKFP.

In the other game, which was also very entertaining, the Eagles tied the game on a touchdown run from Jalen Hurts ($5,900; 40.82 DKFP), but couldn’t convert the extra point to take the lead over the Cardinals. Kyler Murray ($7,000; 38.14 DKFP) responded with a long drive but couldn’t get any points. His next possession, though, Murray hooked up with DeAndre Hopkins ($7,900; 34.0 DKFP) for the unstoppable touchdown play below. While it took until a last-second hail mary fell incomplete, the Cardinals held on to win, 33-26.

4 p.m. ET games — First Half
The three late games featured some interesting matchups and some very important fantasy players for the leaders at the top of the leaderboard. The Arizona Cardinals hosted the Philadelphia Eagles and Kyler Murray ($7,000) started fast with a rushing touchdown and a passing touchdown along with the ridiculous throw and catch by DeAndre Hopkins ($7,900) in the highlight below. Jalen Hurts ($5,900) answered back, though, with a pair of passing touchdowns as the Eagles closed to within 19-14. Murray hit Larry Fitzgerald ($3,300) for a score just before halftime to put Arizona up, 26-14, Hurts had another answer with his second touchdown to Greg Ward ($3,000), who was already a great value play at halftime.

The Jets took an early lead in their matchup with the Rams as they threatened to get their first win of the season. Ty Johnson ($4,200) had the big play in the highlight below for the early touchdown and some Sam Ficken field goals led to the Jets holding a 13-3 lead at halftime. In the second half, Frank Gore ($4,000) punched in a one-yard score on fourth down to increase the Jets’ lead to 20-3. The Rams finally got their first touchdown of the game midway through the third on a 15-yard pass to Robert Woods ($6,800) but still trailed, 20-10.

In the showcased game of the week, the Saints and Chiefs clashed in New Orleans. Drew Brees ($5,900) struggled early, and Patrick Mahomes ($7,900) got the Chiefs on the board with a pair of touchdown passes to Tyreek Hill ($8,800) and Travis Kelce ($8,000) in the highlight below. The Saints got a score back, though, on a short run by Taysom Hill ($6,000), and at the end of the half, they got a bizarre safety to close to within 14-9.

In an AFC East matchup, the Dolphins came out in the second half and took the lead over the Patriots with a touchdown from Salvon Ahmed ($4,700; 24.7 DKFP) to take a 7-6 lead. The Patriots answered back with a field goal, but Tua Tagovailoa ($5,700; 19.7 DKFP) ran for a touchdown to give the Dolphins a 15-9 lead, following a two-point conversion, and Tua iced the game with another rushing touchdown in the fourth quarter to officially eliminate the Patriots from playoff contention.
The Jaguars also scored early in the second half on a pass from Gardner Minshew ($5,300; 16.94 DKFP) to James Robinson ($7,100; 14.3 DKFP), but Lamar Jackson ($7,500; 32.22 DKFP) had a rushing touchdown and threw a score to Mark Andrews ($5,500; 17.6 DKFP) to help the Ravens cruise to a 40-14 win.

Seattle broke open their game against Washington with the 50-yard touchdown from Carlos Hyde ($5,100; 14.3 DKFP) in the highlight below while the Seahawks’ DST ($3,100; 9.0 DFKP) had a pair of interceptions. Despite a late touchdown from J.D. McKissic ($5,700; 25.7 DKFP) and a huge game from Logan Thomas ($4,000; 26.1 DKFP), Washington took the 20-15 loss.

As the Vikings tried to rally against the Bears, Dalvin Cook ($9,000; 29.9 DKFP) had a short-yardage score, but David Montgomery ($7,000; 32.2 DFKP) had his second touchdown of the day while also hitting the 100-yard bonus. The Vikings got a late touchdown catch from TE Tyler Conklin ($2,500; 14.7 DKFP) but their rally fell short as Chicago held on for the 33-27 divisional win.

San Francisco tied up their game against the Cowboys with a field goal to level the score at 17-17. Andy Dalton ($5,400; 17.16 DKFP) found Dalton Schultz ($3,200; 9.4 DKFP) for a touchdown to put Dallas back ahead. After losing Raheem Mostert (ankle) to another injury, the 49ers got a touchdown from Jeff Wilson Jr. ($5,100; 12 DKFP) to tie things back up at 24-24. A late field goal from the Cowboys and another turnover from Nick Mullens ($5,100; 14.46 DKFP) resulted in Dallas’s 34-24 lead after a second touchdown run from Tony Pollard ($5,200; 31.2 DKFP) in the highlight below. After CeeDee Lamb ($4,500; 19.5 DKFP) returned an onside kick for a touchdown, the 49ers did get a meaningless touchdown on a last-second heave from C.J. Beathard ($5,000; 8.0 DKFP) to Kendrick Bourne ($4,100; 18.6 DKFP). While it didn’t impact the outcome of the game, it definitely gave both of them huge fantasy boosts.

The Colts answered back, though, with Zach Pascal’s ($3,200; 24.9 DKFP) second touchdown of the day.
