Welcome to Week 15’s top fantasy football stacks analysis, where we’ll look at some of the best passing game options to consider for Sunday’s main DraftKings NFL slate. The concept to care about here is that quarterbacks and wide receivers generally have correlated fantasy point totals, meaning that one of them scoring points corresponds to the chances of the other one scoring points. For GPPs, we’ll want to keep an eye on ownership estimates, too, so the goal is to present a comprehensive breakdown of which passing game combinations could provide an edge in those DraftKings DFS tournaments.

5. Drew Brees ($5,900)/Emmanuel Sanders ($4,200)/Tre’Quan Smith ($3,200), New Orleans Saints vs. Kansas City Chiefs
Saints news has flooded in on Friday, with Brees expected to return while Michael Thomas has been ruled out. This situation creates some severely underpriced Saints players, as the secondary options were priced for the ground-heavy approach with Taysom Hill at quarterback. They were also priced to be behind Thomas on the depth chart, so this is both a role upgrade and an overall offense upgrade simultaneously. The Saints figure to need to throw more than usual while trying to keep up with the Chiefs, so unless ownership catches on, this should be an extremely strong source for stacks.
4. Dwayne Haskins ($5,000)/Terry McLaurin ($6,600), Washington Football Team vs. Seattle Seahawks
The Washington Football Team is expected to have Haskins at quarterback in place of Alex Smith this week and it’s far from clear as to how the passing game might be affected. Haskins is generally more mistake-prone than Smith, but he also has better athleticism and the matchup against the Seahawks could give McLaurin the bounce-back game he seems to have been waiting several weeks for. Washington has controlled most of their recent wins on defense, so the ownership should be suppressed here as well due to the recent lack of fantasy production.
3. Mitchell Trubisky ($5,500)/Allen Robinson ($7,400), Chicago Bears at Minnesota Vikings
Trubisky and Robinson combined for a strong game in Week 14, putting up 25 and 30 DKFP, respectively, in a blowout victory. Despite those results and another decent matchup on deck, the ownership appears to be pretty modest for this week. Robinson’s price tag has come up, but the ownership is still likely going to be too low for a passing game with one of the best receiving weapons in the NFL. This is a road game for the Bears, but facing the Vikings’ mediocre defense in a dome while several other teams are outdoors in December should yield plenty of scoring potential relative to the field.
2. Deshaun Watson ($6,800)/Brandin Cooks ($6,000)/Keke Coutee ($5,300), Houston Texans at Indianapolis Colts
The Texans were a major letdown in Week 14, scoring just seven points against the Bears while squandering some prime scoring opportunities. The matchup for Week 15 isn’t an easy one, but it will take place indoors and the ownership for this stack is bound to be low enough that it could be the sneakiest option of the week. Watson and his receivers are moderately priced, but the upside is always there with the high variance nature of the Texans' offense and you generally just don’t get this much skill going this overlooked. It’s not that no one else is going to be playing Houston, but they just seem to compare quite favorably to some of the more trendy picks this week.
1. Patrick Mahomes ($7,900)/Tyreek Hill ($8,800), Kansas City Chiefs at New Orleans Saints
Stacking Mahomes and Hill is never really a hard sell, but the matchup against the Saints combined with the exorbitant prices could scare a large majority of people away. Mahomes is going to be hard to pay up for this week — with Lamar Jackson ($7,500) and Kyler Murray ($7,000) coming in cheaper and in better matchups — and having to fit Hill at nearly $9K makes it all the more difficult. Because of that, however, the stack is likely going to draw less interest than it should, and that’s really what this comes down to with players like Mahomes and Hill. Having cheap run-back options on the Saints does make this stack easier to stomach, and those low-priced fill-ins might make it possible to squeeze Travis Kelce ($8,000) into these lineups too.
