Madden Stream Picks: Top DraftKings Fantasy Football DFS Targets, Values for November 25

Zach Thompson gives his top studs and value plays at each position for Wednesday’s three-game Madden Stream DraftKings slate, which starts at 6:00 p.m. ET.

On Thanksgiving Eve, the DraftKings Dream Stream is ready to roll with a full six-game schedule of Madden sims. Since it’s Wednesday, there will be some wild weather throughout the day which will impact each of the six matchups. The first game of the featured classic slate kicks off at 6:00 p.m. ET, featuring the Indianapolis Colts visiting the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in a game that will be played in the wind in virtual Florida. At 8:00 p.m. ET, the New York Jets visit the virtual Pacific Northwest to take on the Seattle Seahawks in a rainstorm, and the full day of action wraps up with a snow game for the New England Patriots, who are hosting the San Francisco 49ers on Madden After Dark.

An important note to remember is that each roster is not impacted by COVID-19 opt-outs or injuries and the highest-rated options are at the top of the depth charts. The roster for each team includes all player movement that occurred prior to Week 1 of this season and you can find the game settings, depth charts, abilities and X-factors for each team in Madden 21 along with the upcoming schedule on the Madden Stream info page.

Check out the daily DraftKings Madden Stream contests lobby with paid contests for real cash prizes now available alongside free contests. Each simulation will be played out computer vs. computer via an online Madden Stream using Madden 21. In this format, you can enjoy watching the game stream on the DraftKings YouTube channel, the DK Live app (download here) or right here in this post.

Russell Wilson, Seattle Seahawks vs. New York Jets, $7,800 — Especially with weather elements in play, it’s critical to have a QB that can still produce fantasy points if the passing game isn’t working. Wilson has been awesome in these sims at making plays both on the ground and through the air, totaling 51 touchdowns in his 23 sims including a dozen rushing scores to go with his average of 70.8 rushing yards per sim. He has thrown for multiple touchdowns and produced over 27 DKFP in three straight sims coming into this matchup after putting up 28.32 DKFP and 29.92 DKFP in back-to-back wins over the Arizona Cardinals. His playmaking upside is unmatched on this slate, and he’s the top option to build around if it’s possible to make his salary work with the rest of your roster.

Other Option — Philip Rivers ($6,200)

Cam Newton, New England Patriots vs. San Francisco 49ers, $5,900 — Even though the 49ers are a tough defense when healthy like they are in Madden, they haven’t been a total “stay-away” matchup in Madden 21. Newton doesn’t regularly have the same ceiling that Wilson has shown off, but Cam is a solid play who has produced over 16 DKFP in four of his past six contests. He threw for 300 yards two sims ago against the Chiefs on his way to 22.3 DKFP, which was his tenth game with over 20 DKFP in his 25 Madden 21 sims. He has 29 passing touchdowns and nine rushing touchdowns in those 25 sims while averaging 223 passing yards and 13.1 rushing yards per contest. This will be the first time he faces the 49ers in Madden 21, and I think he’ll be able to make enough plays to lead the Patriots to the win in the snowy nightcap.

Other Option — Sam Darnold ($5,700)

Running Back

Raheem Mostert, San Francisco 49ers at New England Patriots, $8,000 — The 49ers build their Madden offense around Mostert, who leads an extremely effective ground game that should thrive in the snow. Mostert has run for over 100 yards in each of his past two sims and is averaging 81.7 yards per game in his 23 Madden 21 sims. In those 23 contests, he has scored an impressive 25 total touchdowns, which have helped him average 21.4 DKFP per sim, which is the second-highest average of all the players available on this slate, even including the QBs. Mostert has over 17 DKFP in four of his past five sims and has produced over 12 DKFP in nine straight and 19 of his past 20. He’s low-risk due to his very high volume and should be busy once again as the 49ers take on the Patriots in the snow.

Other Options — Le’Veon Bell ($6,500), Chris Carson ($5,600)

James White, New England Patriots vs. San Francisco 49ers, $4,200 — White has been the Patriots’ third-down back in these sims for their 25 Madden 21 sims and usually finds a way to be involved. He has averaged 3.4 receptions for 20.9 receiving yards while adding 21.2 rushing yards per game as well. He has found the end zone seven times overall, including two times in his four most recent sims. He is averaging 9.3 DKFP per contest and is a very reliable option at this salary. He was held without a catch by the Steelers in his most recent sim, but he had at least three catches in his nine previous games and averaged 11.7 DKFP over that stretch. With a salary barely over $4K, he is a great way to save salary at RB and still get good production so you can pay up for Wilson and top WRs.

Other Option — LeSean McCoy ($4,500)

Wide Receiver

Chris Godwin, Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Indianapolis Colts, $6,300 — Godwin and the rest of the Bucs’ WRs have been inconsistent fantasy options since Tom Brady ($6,900) typically spreads the work around and gives each option a fluctuating workload from game to game. With the windy conditions in this contest, I expect Brady to lock in to Godwin, who usually works out of the slot over the middle of the field. Godwin has had a few massive games in these sims, including over 15 DKFP in five of his past nine contests, highlighted by 11 catches for 115 yards and a touchdown for 31.5 DKFP against Detroit. Godwin is a little more volatile than some of the elite WR1 options on other slates, but he’s the best option at the top of this WR pool.

Other Option — DK Metcalf ($6,600), Mike Evans ($5,800)

Zach Pascal, Indianapolis Colts at Tampa Bay Buccaneers, $4,800 — Pascal has exactly four catches in five straight games, averaging 10.7 DKFP. He has only found the end zone once during that span but has 10 touchdowns in his 22 sims in Madden 21. Pascal showed off a crazy-high ceiling with 35.2 DKFP against the Cowboys earlier in these sims but has also had some down games. A lot like the Bucs, the Colts spread the workload around, but Pascal’s recent involvement has made him a reliable enough play to consider under $5K.

Chris Hogan, New York Jets at Seattle Seahawks, $4,400 — Hogan is the Jets’ WR2 on the Madden depth chart and has been a very solid value play in these sims. He has multiple catches in eight straight contests and 19 of his 21 sims in Madden 21. In those 21 contests, Hogan has averaged 3.1 catches for 48.2 yards per contest and a total of four touchdowns. He had 32.1 DKFP against the Bucs just a few sims ago by catching six passes for 111 yards and two touchdowns. Even though he doesn’t regularly go off like that, he almost always does enough to return good value at this salary.

Other Options — Deebo Samuel ($5,300), Tyler Lockett ($5,100), N’Keal Harry ($4,500), Breshad Perriman ($4,100)

Tight End

Chris Herndon, New York Jets at Seattle Seahawks, $5,200 — Herndon enters this matchup with the Seahawks on a nice roll with at least four catches in seven straight sims. During that run, he has scored three touchdowns and averaged 15.6 DKFP per contest. He has a monster game with 29.2 DKFP against the Colts and has at least 14 DKFP in five of his past six. Herndon should be able to find space against the Seahawks, who do give up yardage and points even though they force lots of turnovers.

Other Options — George Kittle ($5,600), Rob Gronkowski ($4,800)

Greg Olsen, Seattle Seahawks vs. New York Jets, $4,100 — The Seahawks’ veteran TE should also be able to attack the Jets defense on the other side of the rainy primetime game. Olsen has multiple catches in 20 of his past 21 games and has produced over 8.0 DKFP in 15 of those games. He has double-digit DKFP in six of his 10 most recent contests and is now averaging 10.2 DKFP per contest on 3.9 catches for 42.2 yards per contest over his 23 Madden 21 sims.

Other Option — Trey Burton ($4,600)

Seahawks DST vs. New York Jets, $3,000 — The Seahawks’ DST has definitely gotten a boost from big-hitting Jamal Adams in Madden 21, and they’ll try to shut down Adams’ former team, the Jets, on this slate. The Seahawks have forced 29 turnovers in their 23 sims while piling up 47 sacks and five defensive touchdowns to produce 7.1 DKFP per contest. In their 14 home games, they have been even better, producing 7.3 DKFP per contest and scoring four of their five defensive touchdowns at virtual Lumen Field.

Other Options — Patriots ($2,900)

Colts DST at Tampa Bay Buccaneers, $2,800 — The wind should help the Colts’ DST to limit Brady and the Bucs. In their 22 sims, the Colts have forced eight turnovers and scored four defensive touchdowns while producing 45 sacks. Their numbers are fairly similar to the Seahawks, although they do have fewer total takeaways. They have made up for that, though, by limiting their opponents’ scoring a little more than Seattle has, which has helped them average 5.2 DKFP per contest.
