Southampton has moved to No. 5 in the EPL standings after a run of five unbeaten games. With 13 points and 11th on the table, Wolves is just a win away from catching up. These two teams will meet at Molineux Stadium on Monday evening and here is a breakdown of the players to consider for your roster from DraftKings’ Showdown contest.

Raul Jimenez ($14,400)

Jimenez’s price is quite surprising. He has been Wolves’ leader in two key offensive metrics this season: goals (4) and shots taken (22). This is not unique to just this season either. He is a nightmare for defenders in the box because of his smart runs and aerial prowess. He is in good form too, having scored in five of his past eight appearances, including two goals for Mexico on international duty. He is averaging 11.9 DKFP per game, which could be met or even surpassed against a depleted Southampton team.

Others to consider: Pedro Neto ($15,600)

High-priced flex options

Pedro Neto ($10,400)

Neto’s role has changed slightly this season. He has been forced to move to the left of Jimenez in Wolves’ attacking set-up. He has chipped in with two assists this season. He has been given additional responsibility as well, which is evident from his 13 shots taken, third-most for Wolves. Defensively, he is contributing as well — he has 14 interceptions this season, tied for highest on the club.

Daniel Podence ($9,200)

It will be interesting to see how Wolves continue to manage Podence and Adama Traore ($10,200). Wolves view Traore as a super substitute, with his speed against tiring feet. That has allowed Podence several starting opportunities. In this game, he won’t see the full game for just that reason. However, he could still contribute offensively from the right flank of Wolves’ front three. He has scored one goal this season.

Che Adams ($9,000)

With Danny Ings injured, Adams has been given the starting forward role for Southampton. He has repaid that faith with three goals in his past four appearances in the Premier League. He had scored four goals in 34 appearances before this run of good form. He is even leading Southampton in assists (2) and shots taken (17). This has translated into a commendable 10.7 DKFP per game.

Others to consider: Stuart Armstrong ($8,600)

Value flex options

Theo Walcott ($7,800)

There aren’t too many compelling numbers to justify Walcott’s selection but he can often be one of those players that can switch on at any point. With Ings absent, Southampton has needed some offensive flair. He provides that with his speed and experience. He has averaged 9.5 DKFP per game, not too bad a return for his affordable price.

Rui Patricio ($6,800)

Wolves has kept four clean sheets this season, most in the Premier League. In games involving Wolves, just 2.13 goals have been scored per game, a league low. Wolves has also conceded just nine goals this season, tied for lowest in the EPL. These stats are indicative of just how Wolves plays soccer — slow and methodical, which means not many goals will be scored. Patricio, therefore, has a great chance to keep a clean sheet.

Others to consider: Ruben Neves ($6,400)
