Games from Group A and B are scheduled for Friday’s NEST action. We break down some selections to consider for your DraftKings roster from the tournament’s two-game slate.

Captain

rat ($11,400)

With eStar missing their starting bot laner, it’s up to rat to provide some destruction in the lanes. He has been a decent addition to this roster. He showed glimpses of his best in the closing stages of the summer season. In nine maps (of which eStar lost seven), rat had 3.33 kills, 2.22 deaths and 4.89 assists per game, giving him a KDA of 3.7. That confidence has held him in good stead for this tournament.

Others to consider: ZWuji ($11,700)

Top

xiaoxiang ($5,800)

These stats don’t paint the clearest picture because the sample size is just 18 maps, but xiaoxiang averaged a stunning 4.07 kills per game in the recently-concluded summer split of the LPL. With 5.72 assists, he showed his offensive proficiency for Edward Gaming. Even though there is plenty of work to keep up that excellence, he has the ability and now the opportunity.

Others to consider: XiaoBai ($6,200)

Jungler

Wei ($6,800)

Another slightly skewed metric for this tournament is fantasy output. Wei is averaging just 56.3 DKFP per game while Youdang ($7,000) has an output of 104.1 DKFP per game, primarily because of a much smaller sample size. Wei has been terrific in the jungle of Summoner’s Rift. He was one of only two players in eStar to have played all 40 regular-season maps in summer, averaging 3.25 kills per game.

Others to consider: JieJie ($6,600)

Mid

Wuming ($7,400)

Wuming didn’t have a major part to play in summer, but he has slowly grown into this responsibility in the middle lane. This role gains additional interest because of the proximity to either lane as well as the neutral objectives. He averaged 2.44 kills in 18 maps in the summer split, but his output is slowly increasing. He now has 102.4 DKFP per game.

Others to consider: forse ($6,600)

ADC

ZWuji ($7,800)

ZWuji is an incredibly important selection on this slate. He can easily be your Captain as well. If he isn’t, then he should at least fill this position. He was the only player from Rogue Warriors to play all 36 maps in the regular season of summer. He had a K/D ratio of 1 (2.78 kills, 2.78 deaths), but he also chipped in with 5.5 assists. Among a few temporary subs, ZWuji is likely to have a solid game.

Others to consider: BBD ($7,200)

Support

Ley ($5,800)

Stack away from Rogue Warriors in this slate because the team has retained the core of the summer roster for NEST. Ley was another pivotal player in that summer season. He aided ZWuji ably in the bottom lane as he racked up an average of 8.13 assists per game. Rogue Warriors is unbeaten in NEST so far. The depth of the roster has a lot to do with that.

Team

EDward Gaming ($4,800)

EDward Gaming carried FunPlus Phoenix to a third map in the only game the team has played at NEST so far. There has been a lot to like about EDward Gaming, particularly with Hope as bot laner in the LPL. Against eStar ($5,200), EDward Gaming certainly wouldn’t feel like an underdog after a solid year in the LPL.
